CQ Noodle & Bubble Tea
"C.Q.Noodles is an authentic Chongqing snack noodle restaurant from Chongqing, China. It specializes in hand-cut noodles and casserole rice noodles. The knife-cut noodles are hand-cut by the master, and the noodles are chewy and tough, the soup is delicious and mellow. At the same time, we also have a secret sauce with Bashu flavor.Which guarantees that you will fall in love after eating it..!!"

*Update: Another positive visit here. The food is good quality and has great taste. Had the Tomato beef over rice , and it was as good as it was the last time I ordered it. I really want to try a new dish, but it was hard not to order the same thing. I did, however, try the stir-fried noodles like chow mein, and I thought it was tasty. I highly suggest to visit this place and try one of the soups. After, let us know your thoughts. The workers were helpful & very nice. - end update - Prior visit: Visited the business around 8pm on a weeknight, and there was no wait. We ordered two soups that were really good! House special w/beef Rib & knife cut noodles Tomato beef with white rice . We enjoyed both of them a lot!
Open late + Outstanding knife cut noodle and beef bone soup. The broth was really really good and obviously took many many hours to prepare. Meat just falls off the bone. Service staff is very friendly and polite, they also have a sense of humor if you engage with them check out the signs on the bathroom, lol. Very good hospitality here and they know how to read your mood to be reserved vs more engaging. Native Mandarin and decent English too. They will await your hand signal before bringing the bill and seem to be okay with people chatting after finishing the food….which is not typical for Chinese restaurants haha. Just be patient if the place is busy, there are only a couple of people running the place. Very neighborhood vibe and authentic, with a pretty interesting choice in decor. Great noodles, authentic staff, open late, fair prices. Parking: Mostly paid meter spots , free after 7 and free on Sundays. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level entrance, but bathroom is up stairs
Relatively new restaurant in a pretty remote area. The rice noodle is fine. The fried meat and small plates are ok. However, non of that matters because the beef broth shaved noodle is 100% fantastic! We ordered two serves each because we cannot have enough… the flavor, the texture, and the shape, just works! Must try and this is pretty unique since we didn’t find anything like this in the city
I appreciate a good bowl of noodles at reasonable price that is open late and this place hits all those marks. Service can be a bit slow because it’s just a few people keeping the place running, but well worth the wait. Fun decorations that are a mix of Sakura with a galaxy theme Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and accessible tables near front door
I am sure that for those of you lucky enough to live in the city this noodle shop is just one of many you have to choose from but for those of us who drove 5 hours to get here Wow what a treat. So good, wish I lived closer so I could explore the menu but this will just have to go into the memory book of special dinners.
The food was ok. The fried rice was kinda bland and doesn’t have much ingredients for the price. The noodle was decent, it wasn’t too salty but not too special. Food is pricy. They gave free Chinese sausage, which is just hot dog for checking in in Yelp. Service was ok. The waiter doesn’t check on us much. We went during late afternoon and it was not too busy.
Good food and service. The MiXian special thin rice noodle soup is very hot by using a special hot pot container. Another special thing is the hand cut noddles. It is different from the hand pull noddles. It is very popular in northwest China. A must to try if you never had it before.
After a lackluster meal at Izakaya Links, who no longer serve their Japanese curry tacos, this saved our mid-week date night. Maps seems to think there are Thai noodles to be had, but there are not. But fear not, there *is* still delicious noodling afoot. QQ chewy noodles the likes of which I haven't found in CA outside of LA. Perfect amount of numbing spice such that it's lip-smacking but not making my nose run. Moist, fatty, tendon-y, fall-off-the-bone, stick-to-your-ribs ribs. Open relatively late for post-restaurant-pocalypse. Cute decor with flowers on the ceiling, as seems to be "in" at Chinese restaurants these days. Good service, fairly bilingual, or at least we didn't run into any language barrier issues. The only downside was their san jin bao filling was more like cha shu bao filling, but that's not food from their region so it's more my fault for ordering Shanghai food at a Chongqing restaurant. They should just take this off the menu. We were already half-full from our previous meal or we would have ordered more. Next time. Oh, yes, there will be a next time.
The hand-cut noodles were excellent, with good texture and chewiness. The beef was tender, rich in flavor, along with the distinctive spiciness of Szechuan peppers. The staff was very friendly.
Amazing hole in the wall hand pulled noodle house hidden in the Richmond District. For the quality of food that I've tried. The prices are downright cheap enough to feed an entire family for under $100. The interior is decorated from wall to wall however I didn't find it tacky, on the contrary, it portrays both a strong cultural heritage and whimsical vibe that works for them. Being a hole in the wall, it may not be able to accomodate large groups very well but so far I've never had a problem getting a table. Beef Bone soup with Knife Cut Noodles are absolutely divine! Definitely worth a try if you haven't had them before. They also have this amazing green sauce that tastes delicious over everything. But you have to ask for it so consider that my little insider tip for you.
