Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Prairie du Chien, WI

I really enjoy staying at this hotel with my wife's family. The workers are friendly and the kids all seem to enjoy the indoor pool/play area. The rooms are very nice and spacious as well. I like that ours had a refrigerator and microwave. The bunk beds that the kids' had in their grandparent's room was nice also.

Awesome clean rooms with fun Water Park for people of all ages.. Resturant is attached to hotel and is really nice... Make this your next trip. Fall colors everywhere and is great to see.. southern Iowa family.

Staff was less then helpful. Room was dirty, had a plumbing issue, was brought a plunger and told to fix it ourself three hours after we called. Found several stains and hairs in the "clean" towels. "Water park" is a joke. One slide that looks like it's never open. Found old bandaids and dead bugs all around the pool area. Just very dirty in general. Also watched housekeeping have a stack of clean towels fall on the floor near the lobby. They put them back on the cart as clean and not into the dirty cart where they should have gone. Needless to say we won't EVER be going back there.

Rooms are simple but well kept. Staff is very nice. The pool is great for kids, with a nice water slide. We'll be back!

We stayed there for 4 nights. The OLD rooms were clean . We did a thorough check for bedbugs-none found. The chair in room 207 was stained and dirty. We would not sit in the chair. There were water marks from glasses/bottles on the furniture. They sure do need an update. We had a hard time trying to figure out how to use the old tube TV-the front desk people had no idea how to get it to work. Finally after playing with it, we got it working. Sunday after a busy day of traveling, we went to the Buckhorn restaurant for supper at 5:50pm. She said the place was closing in 10 minutes and would not take our order. We had to find dinner elsewhere. Would we stay there again? probably not !
