The room was good but the lady at the front desk was horrible on Saturday Oct 28th. While we were filling out the sheets for the room she kept interrupting and grabbing the paper and crossing things out. She was constantly saying "that's what I'm saying" without actually explaining how to fill the sheet and then raising her voice when we paused for a minute to read the vehicle information. She then stated she will cancel all our rooms right now if we swear, when no one was swearing. She was rude and obnoxious from the moment we walked in. I have never had such a strange and negative experience with a hotel staff. My guests and I were pleasant and gave absolutely no attitude or hostility, I am not sure why she was disrespectful from the start.I am not sure why she constantly kept repeating "that's what I'm saying" and "No, No, No!" But there was something very off about her. If you want to have happy guests this woman should not be working there! If we we're giving her a hard time I understand her hostility and anger but we did not. I am positive this is not the first complaint about this woman and will not be the last. Bad experience.

Room was clean, well put together. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated near the hospital for people who have appointments there - it is our go to location.

Location is near Victoria Hospital and not too far from downtown is very convenient whether visiting for pleasure, business at Vic, or visiting loved ones. Rooms are clean and outfitted to budget hotel price. Small HDTV with wide channel selection. Bathroom was clean and updated. Breakfast was varied and well made with a long enough window to attend. Service was friendly, but desk appeared frequently unstaffed (may have been in back office).

On October 28th at around 3:30 pm my friends and I checked into to this hotel. The first thing I noticed was the lady at the front desk speaking rudely to the couple ahead of us in line. As it was our turn to check in, we had told her that we had 3 rooms under our name. We told her the name for the room and she immediately raised her voice claiming we were wrong. Eventually she was able to find our rooms but continued to carry a disrespectful attitude towards us. My friend remained very calm and polite despite her attitude. As we filled out the vehicle information form she continued to inturrupt us and speak down to us as if we were idiots. She was just very rude for no reason. It got to the point where I had to walk away because she was unbelievable. I noticed there are many other complaints about this woman and I'm not surprised. Management should probably do something since the problem is not going away.

Stains on bed, hair in sink. The manager seems to sit and just watch people on the security cameras which I personally find extremely creepy and not right at all. Got two rooms and both smelled like smoke and there were stains on the rug and ceiling. The staff was grouchy, especially the manager. No hot tub, just a very small pool. Not worth the price point if you just want a place to stay. The closeness to the hospital is really nice if you need to be close to it.
