A very nice old monument to the past.nMore signage at specific sites at the park where events or buildings were would be great.nThis was another Parks Canada where it was a bunch of kids working that didn't really seem to know what they were doing. Their were a couple that were enthusiastic and helpful. Others we encountered that just shy'd away from us. Maybe because we were speaking English and they weren't comfortable engaging. We have ran into that a few times as well.nIn the end, a great history of ingenuity and expansion. History of the growth of Canada . We liked the place.
The Blockhouse of Couteau du Lac shows as the remnants of the past. It tells us the history and the people, the battles and sacrifices, the weapon and defenses, and much more. The place have tour guides that will take you to the sites and will give you insights and understanding about the historical place. So if you happen to be in Quebec and have seen the picture i've posted, please come visit this place. You can do picnic there as well.
Beautiful area for a walk and picnic in the summer.
Nice little space near the water. The Fort is small but it is nice to wonder around and see the site and the canal. There are picnic tables for a snack or just relax and the river is beautiful. I liked it.
One of the best historical parks in Quebec. Not only is the history shared here by young enthusiastic ladies and gents, but it's also well maintained by them. Stunning views of the St Lawrence River, beautiful gardens, clean picnic site under huge trees. Enjoyed by locals and tourists. Stunning sun rises. Well done to all involved.
