Story

Drive or take a bus from Valleyfield (5 min. from KOA) to downtown's cornucopia of shops, restaurants, historic sites and cultural pleasures that are a charming blend of French and English. Experience four distinct ecosystems at the Biodôme. Test your luck at the Casino de Montréal (one of the world's largest) or test your nerve at La Ronde amusement park. Find many attractions in Valleyfield, from the International Regatta held in July to a blues festival and a country festival with rodeo and dance in August. KOA's good-size heated pool and tree-shaded grounds help you unwind at day's end. Walk or bike along the Soulanges Canal. Enjoy nearby golf courses. This KOA has received a four-star rating by Camping Québec.

Too expensive. Too much traffic noise and too much train noise. There is a train whistle every hour. We arrived just after dark approx. 730 pm and the entrance is dark and no one around. Never stay here unless you want NO SLEEP. The sites are also very thin and the fire pit is too close to your vehicles. There is only one bathroom building in the park at the one end. Would NEVER stay there again.

The campground was very nice they have a big store and a bunch of stuff for the kids to do. I was warned about the noise from the hwy and rightly so it was fairly loud all night. There also seemed to be someone improperly draining there sewage. It stunk up a good size area for a few hours

We come here all the time. As regulars, we are used to all of the sound mentioned in the other reviews. It was worth the effort to get used to the noise as our kids love coming here. It has a lot going for it. There are bouncies for the kids, a full play park, an awesome pool and a cute petting zoo. Being right on the highway offers a lot of convenience as well. The staff are always very helpful and it is very clean

A clean Campground with clean facilities! A pool that was well-maintained, kids playground and a community area with fooseball and pool tables. We're definitely going back. Friendly staff welcomed us upon check-in and answered any questions we had during our visit. Easy to get to.

Was not given site I booked and paid for (and had printout of reservation), and male staff extremely rude. It was a very upsetting experience. Booked a pull-thru site 4 months in advance and arrived in the afternoon to the site to be told that they could not give us a pull thru site. They took us to a reverse-in site with two empty pull-thru sites opposite they were saving for other customers. Then the male staff/owner told me that he would have to back in my trailer for me as he thought I would damage his property. We ended up leaving without knowing where else we would go. Fortunately Montreal South KOA had spots available! We have driven right across Canada this summer and have never experienced anything like this before or after.
