There are a lot of cons to this Costco. The main one I dislike is that the meat department doesn’t slice lamb as thin as bacon. Why is it so hard to do this? Costco in Point-Saint-Charles, for example, does it without a problem.nnThere’s also a noticeable lack of organic produce — no organic Greek yogurt, no vegetable chips.nn‼But the most unpleasant experience I had was with an employee named Vivian. For a while, I wasn’t feeling well, and my heart was beating three times faster than normal. Because of this, I had to use one of the store’s mobility carts, as I couldn’t walk or stand for long periods.nAs the store was closing, I wanted to wait for my cab for just 3-4 minutes, sitting in the Costco mobility cart, while other shoppers made their final purchases and left. But Vivian ran up to me and started yelling, demanding that I get up immediately so she could put the mobility carts away. I politely asked her to wait for just a few minutes and explained that I wasn’t feeling well, but she didn’t seem to care. Wasn't it hard to wait 3 or even 5 minutes?nI mean, all the people in the store hadn't left the store yet.nIt was a horrible experience, and I genuinely hope this employee doesn’t continue working with customers.
I usually shop at any of the Costcos early at opening time on any day of the week because there’s not a lot of people unless it’s before a holiday which I avoid going. I like going to Costco at Marché Central. It’s nice, clean, well organized, well stocked, everything’s always fresh and their customer’s service is good and friendly, I always feel welcomed there. The pictures were taken this morning. This summer I went to their optical center for the first time and their specialists were very helpful. This location doesn’t have a gas station.
Costco Marché Central is in a great location if you’re looking to combine your Costco run with other errands. Situated among several other businesses, it offers the convenience of tackling multiple shopping needs in one trip. The checkouts are almost always fully staffed, which is a definite plus for those busy days.nnThat said, as with many Costcos, finding employees on the floor can be a challenge. The warehouse itself is large, but it leans toward the smaller side compared to other Costco locations, and there’s no gas station attached—a potential inconvenience if you’re looking to refuel as part of your visit.nnParking, however, is the real downside. The lot is difficult to navigate, compounded by a particularly busy intersection nearby that sees heavy traffic from other large retailers. Despite these issues, the attractive bulk pricing keeps me coming back, even if the overall experience isn’t as pleasant as one might hope.
Staff is extremely helpful, friendly, nice, and professional. Always smiling, it is surprising to see how much they seem to have a good ambiance for a workplace.nnMost products always available, very larges aisles. Lot of customers, suggested to go on mornings for less traffic, food tasting kiosks. Self-serve cashiers available and quick staff present to assist.nDuring the most rush hour, we may sometimes need to wait for a cart but it's not usual.nnPharmacy with everything needed available, always a lot of customers at the pharmacy but it goes very fast, efficient and professional staff, knowledgeable, good service from the pharmacist too. They have tons of customers but everyone is served with a personal attention.nnRestaurant with the regular menu, usually a lot of customers but also very quick to be served, in the rush hour, it takes about 15 minutes to get our order called. They call the order n0 in French and English. 4 to 8 self-serve cashiers to place order.nnReturns and customer service is professional and efficient.nnI recommend this location.
The Costco at Marche Central is surrounded by Reno Depot, Home Depot, and other shopping centers. It's a good place for shopping. They do not allow entry before 30 mins to the closing time. You should always plan to reach one hour ahead. Otherwise, you will be disappointed.
