Total fan of Costco despite purchase sizes. The place rings with merchandise that is best in class at reasonable margins.nYesterday seeking a great value BbQ chicken,the fish and meat counters were replete with yellow stickers on meats and chicken The beef steaks by my math were reduced from $27/lb.to $23/lb. Whoa! By contrast,chicken drumsticks of high quality were discounted at $3/lb. I bought the drumsticks smiled at consumer resistance to meats not pork and easily settled for a hot dog and refillable fountain drink @ $1.50 while sharing mini tables with a matrix of Montreal's value customers.nnAmbrosio apples 6lb. for $6 on sale, an excellent substitute for Fuji or Honey Crisp

When traveling, I like to stop at Costco locations outside the U.S. to see what regional products and food court items they carry. Montreal was the third international Costco I’ve visited, and while the layout and most items are very similar to U.S. stores, there were some fun differences. I noticed more international snacks and foods, plus slightly different pastries in the bakery section. I was also surprised to see in the freezer section the famous Montreal restaurant Schwartz’s Smoked Meat — you can actually buy their smoked meat packs right at Costco.nnOne big difference: the famous rotisserie chicken is $8.99 CAD, compared to $4.99 USD back home. The food court was the main reason I came, and I wasn’t disappointed. They had unique offerings like poutine $6.99 CAD, and a smoked meat sandwich $7.99 CAD, which you won’t find in the States. I tried both items and thought they were good—especially the poutine, which was surprisingly delicious for coming from a Costco kitchen. Interestingly, the classic hot dog combo is still priced at $1.50 CAD, which actually makes it cheaper than in the U.S. after conversion.nnI’ve been a Costco member for years and always appreciate the savings—especially on gas—but this visit was extra fun for trying out some distinctly Canadian items. Definitely worth checking out if you’re a fellow Costco fan visiting Montreal.

Well ,nI have been a client at this place for years.nI was queueing at the retour aux merchandise station . When I advanced to the employee Her name is Sonia , she simply left her position at the case , took her bag, and left !!! I asked her colleague why she left the case , and he said that she might be having her break ? So he asked me to take the other queue all over again .nThis incident tells you that some of the employees at Costco really need to be taught how to respect the customers, and they really need to learn some of the communication skills .nnDay of the incident 03 July 2025 .nTime of the incident 11.50 am .

Costco is a store that sells almost everything. It sells grocery in bulk which in this day and age makes more sense than buying in regular stores because you get more for you dollar. Also offers clothing, toys, fridges, freezers, bbq's, tv's, a fish counter etc. A pharmacy is also in store and a clothing section which always has a cant miss item. They have a garage service for maintenance, tire changes, oil changes, etc. Hungry from all that shopping...they have a restaurant section that is always full. Fries are really good. They are always doing various tastings during the day.

The Costco at Marche Central is surrounded by Reno Depot, Home Depot, and other shopping centers. It's a good place for shopping. They do not allow entry before 30 mins to the closing time. You should always plan to reach one hour ahead. Otherwise, you will be disappointed.
