Costco Pharmacy

I have to call 4-5 times to make sure fax has been sent to my pharmacy and each time staff is rude and say they have sent but they didn't sent or sent incorrectly. Joshua is very rude and is completely a misfit for this job, no manners and empathy with the patients.

Asked to fill my parent's prescription. It was a handwritten prescription that had some erasures with the doctor's initial next to it. They said they have to wait for the doctor to confirm the initial!?!? I told them that my mom does not have the heart meds anymore and needs them. They insisted the doctor needs to initial the initial!?! By the way, the prescription was changed from a higher dose to a lower dose!

My doctor prescribed me an OTC medication just because I need more than what people usually need. However they did not prepare that part of the prescription and point me the OTC one. What kind of pharmacist does not follow doctor's reasonable prescription???????

Not the greatest service. We needed urgent medication for parents. Usually their pharmacy makes blister packs. Costco just put them in bottles without any direction if when they should take what medication. Out of 7 meds for each parent.

The price is good but the staff doesn’t care about the customers at all. I call in and ask is everything ready for pickup they say yes. I get there and then told oh sorry it’s not ready drive back tomorrow. The other day the pharmacist was rude to my wife. Don’t ask any questions!!! This is common practice for these people. Maybe better to pay more but get treated well at Mediserve pharmacy on 591 King street east. Mike the owner is there and they CARE.

For the most part prescription refills are handled well and in a timely manner....however, I have called in to have R/x's transferred to Costco from another pharmacy. I asked for one specific medication and when I showed up there was a pile of meds that I did not need refills to. I am also disappointed the the Pharmacy desk is NOT ACCESSIBLE to someone who has to use a riding shopping cart. It is almost impossible to reach the interac machine to pay. Got a "Well that's how it is" from the girl at cash. I also have specific instructions on my profile, which each time in the last 6 months I asked about my instructions and the girl keeps saying "It's on file" however, the last 6 months each time the instructions were not followed....then I have to wait around, being disabled and wait for the R/x's to be refilled. I wish they would take more care in filling and labelling the medication to what is actually on my file. At present I do not have the confidence in the Pharmacy that one should have when obtaining medication. Also, when calling in prescription refills, I tried today and when needing my medication sooner than 2 days, while leaving my information 3 times their answering machine cut me off and I was not able to finish. I tried calling the pharmacy and 3 times got disconnected. Seriously considering moving all my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

The pharmacy is the only phone number that was listed for this store online. I was trying to find out if the food court was open and what time they closed because it was after 5 on Saturday. I was informed that the food court had always been the open you just couldn't sit there and eat your food you had to take it out. They also said the store closed at 6. Very helpful person I dealt with even though I didn't have a pharmacy related question. We managed to get there from another store and get our food and come out again just before 6.

My family and I got our COVID vaccine at this pharmacy. The pharmacists are very friendly and knowledgeable and entire process, from booking to the receiving the shot itself, was very quick and easy. Will return in the future.

I just had my Covid vaccine here and I didn't feel a thing! Zack was very professional and awesome!!! He kept me calm with facts and his cool presences! The check in process was so organized and quick!!! Thank you!

got my first covid vaccine here and I honestly couldn’t feel a thing, I was shocked when the pharmacist said “alright, you’re all done here!” and this is coming from someone terrified of needles all the pharmacy staff I interacted with were so friendly and made the experience more calm and comfortable.
