Today is September 24th @ 12:30pm Went inside, sat down and ordered. Got our drinks. As you can see in the picture there is absolutely no bubbly carbonation. All of our sodas were watered down and flat. Told the waitress about this. She said to the manager in charge behind the bar counter that the soda is flat again. The manager in charge short brown hair with dark glasses said "So! It's supposed to be flat. What do ya want me to do about it??" That was very disappointing to hear that from the manager in charge.
Waiter was great. Very cold in the restaurant part. New menu nothing more than bar food. Food was fair at best. Will not be going back. This had been out go to place for years for a great dining experience.
Service was fantastic. Cindy was our server. She never stopped running. Food was really nice
A really nice drive last night out to lakes country. And we tried this place. It I think is now called Parallel 46. Science? Is the name based on longitude and latitude? So Google Maps needs update name however there still a large sign out front with Country Inn name. There is a small amount of remodeling construction too, but for sure the place is open. The property and views from restaurant windows are lovely and it was nice to sit in bar area and watch sun set. The restaurant was extremely busy and service was not quick but extremely friendly and things very clean. People dressed pretty casual like being at the lake. It's a nicer restaurant though the prices a bit higher but food very good. I liked the homemade mustard sauce and pretzels appetizer. I had a brisket sandwich. The bread too thick for me on sandwich and brisket although supposed to be fatty was overly greasy to me. Thinner bread and some bbq sauce and less mild sharper cheddar would have helped. The potato chips with sandwich and bacon on sandwich really good though. Truly a good selection of wines and desserts. The homemade key lime pie was so yummy. My bf liked his steak and his side salad had plenty of fresh garden vegetables. The place has ambience of a nice boat house or cabin. It's really laid back and fun place. I would definitely go back again and recommend this place to anyone.
Food was very good and beverages were very good also. It was very busy and the service was passable.
Food wasn't all that great and the service was terrible. There is leisurely slow for being at the lakes and just plain really slow because no one is helping each other. They were way too just plain slow.
What a wonderful meal! We went on a Friday evening and that just happened to be the all-you-can-eat fish that I went in for and excellent breading on the fish not too much not too little just right for a big piece of walleye. More so... a lovely waitress named Sydney tended our table. She definitely had to multitask watching her with all the other tables but her suggestions and smile really brightened the meal.
Food wait time was long. Place was loud, patrons obnoxious. Third time here. Probably the last. Always the same. So loud you can't think or share pleasant conversation. At least this time the service was good. Food has been good each time here but expensive, and always over a half hour wait time even when a third or less full of customers. The waitress last time was more concerned with eating food than in bringing us ours, the nachos sat for over 15 minutes before they were brought out as I watched the kitchen from where I was sitting. Had to get up and ask for soda refills more than once. The worst part is the acoustics, definitely not the place to go for a quiet meal...or quick bite. Once is coincidence. Two or more times is enemy action.
Great food and friendly service!
I had the fried walleye... & it was perfect. Tender, moist with a tasty, slightly salty, thin crunchy batter. Ordered the augratin potatoes instead of rice & they were fine but nothing special. I was hoping for more of a sharp cheddar. The salad that came with my meal was so fresh & nice... lots of different lettuces, sweet baby romas, cucumber slices, carrot sticks & red onions that were rings so easily picked off if one chooses to do that & crunchy garlic butter croutons. Very nice. Our waitress was busy as the restaurant was full but still managed to be attentive.
