Story

Samona Inc. a été fondée en 1982 à Beirut par Sami Nicolas Gerges alors
jeune compagnon du devoir. L’entreprise s’est ensuite installée à Montéal où
elle a poursuivi son développement dans les métiers de la chaussure.
Au début des années 2010, Jad, Majd, et Ghady Gerges ont rejoint leurs parents pour demain prendre la relève.

Samona Inc. was founded by Sami Nicolas Gerges, a young and devoted visionary. The company
started it's journey in Beirut in 1982 then moved it's operation to Laval, QC where the company continued
to rapidly grow.
In early 2010, Jad, Majd, and Ghady Gerges joined their parents in their adventure to take the relief in later years.

En alliant artisanat et nouvelles technologies nous avons choisi le parti-pris de
l’innovation et de la qualité.
Constamment notre entreprise se dote des moyens nécessaires à son
développement, notamment par de forts investissements matériels et humains.
Grâce à nos outils, des plus traditionnels aux plus modernes, nous apportons aux
chaussures thérapeutiques sur mesure une qualité aussi bien esthétique que
thérapeutique. En proposant un choix complet de modèles, nous évitons de
marginaliser les porteurs de chaussures thérapeutiques dans leur environnement
social.
Travaillant toujours de concert avec le corps médical nous sommes aussi à l’écoute
constante de nos clients.

that are aesthetically appealing. By offering a full range of models, we avoid
marginalizing users of therapeutic shoes in their social environment.
Always working with the medical profession we are also constantly listening to our

Products

A partir de la prescription médicale et des mesures prises par des podo-orthésistes
d’orthopédie, nous créons d’abord un prototype de la forme personnalisée à partir
duquel nous réalisons les chaussures thérapeutiques.
Les chaussures orthopédiques sont entièrement fabriquées dans nos ateliers
par nos ouvriers, nous maîtrisons chaque étape de la production.

From the prescription and measures taken by orthopedic pedorthists, we first
create a prototype of the custom shape from which we realize the therapeutic
shoes.
Orthopedic footwear is entirely made in our workshops by our workers, where
every stage of production is controlled.
