I received both in-home care, and after care at the Centrepointe location over the course of three weeks (or so) as part of pilonidal cyst procedure. I really wanted to give a higher score, because the nurses were super nice people doing a challenging job, but the truth is my at-home nurse accidentally left packing in my wound for several days because she didn't realize it was in there. As I was coming down with a fever and could hardly walk any more, she finally found it and removed it. I could tell she felt badly. I'm not sure if it was just bad luck or a mistake on her part. Next, when I transfered from in-home to the clinic, we had some troubles scheduling my appointments in a way that would have minimum impact on my work schedule. The trouble was fairly easily resolved, but it certainly was not 'seamless' or problem free. I also need to confess, that I'm not super punctual, and I'm afraid I might sound like a hypocrite. I'm not sure what a reasonable expectation is, so I'll give the service a 3 out of 5. I feel this is fair, and maybe even generous. But, the nurses that I worked with (there were four) were all incredibly nice and compassionate people.

My brother in-law passed away from cancer, and received very supportive nursing and palliative care. On behalf of my sister , I say thank you for very good care.

bloated, inefficient, leaves serious gap in continuity of care. my son was discharge home from CHEO and we were told someone from ccac will come and administer his iv antibiotics 3X a day at our home. Well nobody showed up. Nobody called. We have no contact to call and see what is going on. CHEO says it is not their department so they can't help us. WHAT?!? Now we have to drive back and forth, wait in the ER so they can give us the iv antibiotics. My son is tired and scared. Absolutely unacceptable considering the amount of money going into this place. Don't bother to call after hours as no one will pick up. Some after care!

This company is supposed to be the gate keeper to insure all who need care in our community receive it on an as needed basis. However because of poor office management many people such as myself are left without help. I am in stage 4 of a terminal illness and I am a paraplegic. CCAC sends nobody into my home to help with my cleaning or my care. My hospital bed is not assembled and my super poles are not installed. People are suffering alone at home until they die because of CCAC's lack of any home care and lack of proper office and case management. In our City we need to be able to sell our homes to afford a retirement facility. Nobody at CCAC cares about us. Nobody at CCAC have helped us despite many reports. All we have are many broken promises.
