I stayed in a king suite with Jacuzzi. Room was nice, linen was clean. Jacuzzi filled up fast. Room had blackout roll down blinds which was great for privacy and darkness.nBreakfast was nice, had hot eggs and sausage, juice machine. Indoor pool was a bit cold. Perfect location to walk the strip and take in the scenery.nnThe room smelled a bit musty and the fireplace did not work.nI would still stay here again.
The place is old and run down. Our room was musky. There was hair in the bath tub, so clearly the bathroom was never cleaned. My blanket had coffee stains on it. So they're obviously not changing the bedding which is gross!! The breakfast food tasted bad.nBut the worst thing is that they don't clean your room. When I asked them why, they said that you have to specifically request for it. And they pointed to a tiny sign at the far corner of the reception that said something about it.nWe stayed 2 nights in a dirty room. I wish we stayed at a different place altogether.
Clean and quiet for sure. Front receptionist was friendly and efficient. Overall, all staff were pleasant, quietly doing their work. Breakfast was the usual but fresh and well stocked. Will certainly use this Comfort Inn again.
If you’re expecting comfort, this is not it. Rooms need to be deep cleaned more often, need a better linen cleaning system, check for expired food in the vending machine, and get rid of the mold!nnThis is the dirtiest hotel I have visited. EVERY surface and decor in the room had mysterious gunk and goop crusted on it. Microwave was disgusting inside, bathroom fan caked in dust, moldy bath and shower. Hair, mold stains plus other stains in most of the linen.nnThe worst was the mold all over and INSIDE the AIR UNIT. Unbelievable.nnWhy didn’t I go to another hotel? It seemed like the reviews for the other hotels in Gan weren’t any better. I voiced my concerns to the front desk and asked for another room. 5 stars to her I can’t remember her name for calmly helping the issue with kindness. Not a smidge of attitude, thank you. Second room wasn’t as bad, but still gross.nnAre there any pros? Yes. Close to downtown Gan, lovely staff, and the lobby had a cute Polaroid collection of previous hotel guests' dogs and their names.
Stayed here for one night for a cycling trip of the area. The hotel is beautifully well kept. I arrived without a reservation and the front desk associate was extremely helpful and efficient and got me all checked in and helped me with some directions around town. The room was clean updated and well kept. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location of the hotel is conveniently located downtown easy walk to restaurants shops and harbour. A breakfast is also provided in the morning. A good selection of hot and cold items as well as fresh fruit. The attendant were quick to replenish the food. Nicely done Comfort Inn staff.
