We were there for a hockey tournament and did not have a good experience. The continental breakfast was awful. Over cooked and watered down juice. Most of the team had to go buy their kids breakfast. The water randomly shut off while we were showering and getting ready in the morning. My husband spent the day with soap still on him. When we came back from supper none of our room keys worked, the whole hockey team required to get keys reprogrammed because they didn’t program any of our keys to work past one night. When we went to get the keys fixed they didn’t ask for ID or anything, they just gave room keys away without any regard to checking if it was the right room. If you asked for an extra blanket they refused stating they didn’t have any.
Very comfy beds, haunted rooms, poor breakfast options they cheaped out on everything, tiny shampoo bottles you have to keep ask for, large and loud ac, can't open the windows.nBut nice with workout and pool.
Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Hotel is under renos which was no issue. Our room was clean. I gave it a poor rating due to the rocking toilet. When you sat on the toilet it would rock back and forth. I assume the rocking however caused more issues with the toilet as it leaked and wouldn't flush from time to time.
Very pricey for a low quality room, sketchy area, construction out front with fenced area. People smoking right out the front door of hotel. Did not feel very safe and will not be staying there again. My grandson and I had been visiting family and stayed one night at hotel.nnWe were in Regina and stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites there and had a nice stay. Would go back to the one in Regina but not Yorkton.
I really liked this hotel- big rooms and good beds. There is a free breakfast - same quality as all lodges in Canada - for me nothing to eat except yogurt
