Cockney Kings Fish & Chips

For me the best fish and chips of the city! I have tried many locations but this one in particular combines an excellent service and the fish as it name “king” very big pieces!!! This is important when your trying fish and chips. There are parking slots outside and the restaurant has a good vibe!!! Really recommended if you are close to the place! You walk a bit if your coming on the bus, but is ok if the weather is nice! I’ll come again with my friends!!! I didn’t see a washroom inside but probably outside in the mini mall! Drinks are good too!! Love it!

this was perfect. best fish and chips I have ever tasted. The coleslaw was phenomenal same as the fish and chips. And the waiters were kind. We were the father and son

I've been going here for years. It is a staple restaurant for the North Burnaby community. The workers and servers here are always friendly and attentive. The battered fish at Cockney Kings is delicious and fluffy. Their fries and Louisiana Shrimp are excellent and freshly made. In addition, all you can eat fish and chips for $17.99 is a great deal, even if the fish itself is low cost like Pollock. This is a must try if you are in the area.

Fish and chips are 10/10! We've always enjoyed the food here but this time, our server did not offer us any lemon or vinegar to go with our meal and neither did she explain to us which type of fish was what we ordered the combo where you could try 2 kinds of fish. We heard her offering these options and kindly explaining the dishes to other tables so not sure why we were missed? The restaurant wasn't even busy at the time - there were about 3 tables full of 1-3 people each when we sat down at 630p...

I absolutely love fish and chips. I was so excited to try out the bottomless option that they had here. After trying a whole bunch of items on their summer menu, I learned that I much prefer their grilled items to their fried items. The grilled items taste more fresh and flavorful, and I could eat so much more of those whereas the fried fish, onion rings, fries here specifically were heavily breaded and just left me feeling icky. The staff here is fantastic and the vibes are super cute. I'll definitely come back for the prawn tacos and the Cajun Caesar salad.
