I just found out that my long-time doctor, Dr. Bruce Hedges, passed away 2 days ago from a heart attack while hiking in the wilderness. This man saved my life with medical intervention on a serious pulmonary issue and has been our family doctor through the birth of two girls and assisted us through the death of our son. He was a professional of the first order and a very caring & dependable man with a great sense of humour that was there for our family with a cheerful "how can I help you?" on our toughest days. Recently he's been overseeing my recovery from a host of complications after being hit by a car. Rest in peace, Doc! You will be terribly missed by the Jorden Family and we thank you for your care.
