Highly recommend. Word of warning, peak hours (from my experience) are from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. So unless you enjoying waiting for a seat, I recommend getting there before 11 a.m. if possible. Otherwise be prepared to wait. If you do end up waiting, the food is worth it. The service is great as well.

If you're looking for Detroit's classic diner then this is it. I wouldn't call it a greasy spoon because the food is far from it, just simple, down to earth breakfast and lunch menus. Service is quick and friendly without any fuss. Expect Detroit Police officer's, lawyers, construction workers, even hipsters - this place is a microcosm of Detroit life. A local gem without trying to be a local gem.

BEST BREAKFAST HANDS DOWN! This place is amazing! The service is good, the owners are pleasant. The busboy (wish I knew his name) is the best I watched him in action during a very busy day seat people, clear tables, serve coffee and straighten up everything. He definitely helps the place run smoothly since they are always so busy. Expect to wait a good 10-15 minutes during busy peaks time, but it will be worth your while!

This was one of my favorite places until today! There was a roach crawling under my feet & they don't provide you with plastic utensils/ forks for people that request them. Poor customer service today! Good food but the owner should care more about his customers & take care of those ROACHES
