BIG BOY

I love the taste of food when cooked right. This location is hit or miss with that. The salad bar needed a lot of attention. And a lot was empty but it was about an hour before close. The best deserts every time!

Casual dining. They have all the favorites that they have always had. I have been going there since I was a kid. Even when I lived in Ohio, Metro Detroit or Flint. On the menu you see the old traditional stuff like the Big Boy hamburger--double patties, cheese, lettuce and Thousand Island-like dressing. They still have the Slim Jim, strawberry pie, etc... They also had something that I found surprisingly good that I wouldn't have expected--spaghetti. I was in the mood one night when all the Italian places were closed so I ordered it. I really enjoyed it and have ordered it several times since. I usually receive good service. And they have soda water, which I like, and they don't charge for it. It is no more than carbonated water (no sugar, sweetener, sodium or anything) and restaurants shouldn't charge for it but some are unscrupulous and do it anyway. Who ever heard of paying $2.50 to $3.00 for water? But enough of my ranting. Big Boy does the right thing and doesn't charge for it. Overall, Big Boy is a great casual restaurant with a great menu.

Service was SLOW as molasses! But the food was yummy! Kid friendly atmosphere!

The food is just not good anymore. And they always seem to run out of things. Salad bar up keep isn't great. Just seems run down now and the cleanliness is poor.
