An absolute amazing experience. I have been to several other vets over the years with my rescue. The staff here were all great. They made my dog feel comfortable and safe. They took the extra time and patience needed. They went above and beyond to help him not feel scared and we never felt rushed. I cannot say enough good things about everyone and the Doctor that saw my dog. I am grateful to have found such a wonderful place to bring my pets... A+
If I could give more stars, I would. Truly an amazing veterinary clinic, with unparalleled service. The staff is so caring and attentive, and really takes their time to assess your animal and its needs. My dog has had his file there since he was a puppy, and I would not trust anyone else with him. My 19 year-old cat was not herself recently, and given that her usual vet was away, I called them to ask if they would be able to see her even though she doesn't have her file with them. They took her in the same day, and did a really thorough examination she was there for almost 4 hours. They've even followed up to see how she's doing and have provided me with antibiotics for an unrelated issue that they also discovered while she was there. I really appreciate how accommodating they have been, and the care that they've given her as well as my dog any time I've brought him in. They also have really good business hours, which is an added bonus, as it can be difficult to coordinate vet visits with work schedules. Really and truly could not recommend this place more!
All I can say is wow! I just love this clinic! I have only been with them about a year. It is my fur-baby's third Vet Clinic. They have it running so smoothly, I never sit and wait long to see the vet once there! . Even getting through on the phone is easy! My furbaby has been diabetic for last few years .Dr Leblanc helped me adjust her insulin to a proper level so that she is back to her old self ! She is 19 now and jumps around like when she was 10 years old. I never feel rushed with my million and one questions and everyone is answered before I leave. My fur baby had an inflamed ear last month . They had her come in. They diagnosed it and said it will take a month or so to heal. They are so organized that they followed up with a phone call a month later and asked for pictures to see if it was healing as expected.. I wish I can give them 10 stars!!!
I worked at this clinic for five years, and it was the best experience of my career. I am still a client now that I have moved on to another job, and that won't change. The veterinarians are dedicated, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They take the time to properly explain the medical options and always offer an estimate with the options before doing any procedures to keep the client's budget in mind. The technicians and tech assistants are empathetic, hard-working and always have the animal's interests at heart. And I maintain that the receptionists are some of the best I've seen in animal health reception is a tough job! During the pandemic and now afterwards they still do their best to see and treat as many of our furry friends as possible. The price point is very fair, especially for the area of Montréal the clinic is situated in NDG. Plus, it's right next to a bakery so you can pick up some nice bread or a coffee on your way in or out! All in all, I recommend this clinic to anyone with a fluffy companion they want to keep happy and healthy for life.
I have always felt going to the Vet to be a very expensive experience. I feel transparency with all prices is important. It was recommended that I buy chewies for my cat to help with joint pain they felt he was experiencing. 30 chewies for $59. Crazy.. They are thorough and professional, I'll give them that. I would like to add that the owner of the Clinic did call me to adress the situation and even though the bag was opened, has offered me a refund. That is good customer service, and I appreciate the time she took to call and explain things.
After having a very bad experience at another clinic, the Monkland clinic was nice enough to squeeze me in for an emergency visit. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Very professional service, the veterinarians take time to explain to you what is happening with your animal and you overall feel very well cared for. You can tell they also care a lot about the animals. Highly recommended.
Our experience with both Dr Maude Touret and the whole team at the clinic was exceptional. Our Pitbull was diagnosed with cancer in November of 2020. Dr Touret was able to provide us with treatment options, with regular checkups every 6 weeks. She was concise, empathetic and kind with his treatment. We've dealt with multiple veterinary clinics around the island but the Monkland clinic's facilities, kind staff and care of our pet was consistently the best experience for us!

I have hesitated to write a review for a while, hoping to give a better one. Unfortunately we'll have to switch clinics. They don't let you come in the room with your pet even though covid guidelines have changed. When I brought this up the technician offered me a shrug and a "It's policy" as an answer. When I asked why, she said "we just prefer it that way, it's less nerve wracking". When I came to pay, they've added stuff on the bill that wasn't discussed previously for example, they've justified shaving my cat as a "hygienic trim"... It looked more like a barbarian shave. Thank you for making my Persian look like Dobby. I have also had a few other negative incidences with a particular staff member in the last few months rude tone, cutting me off mid-sentence, rolling her eyes and while the other staff members are genuinely nice and professional Thank you Dr Vary, we've decided to move our pet's file to another clinic in NDG. I'm disappointed.
Have had files here for two dogs and a cat. The prices are a little higher than elsewhere, but the quality of service and care are worth it. Spacious and clean waiting area; also have a big selection of Royal Canin and t/d food for sale onsite as well as some specialty pet products leashes, harnesses, toys, treats, grooming products, etc. The only downside is that they used to let you come into the exam room with your pet but now because of Covid you have to wait in the waiting area, which is a drag for you and your pet. Parking is sometimes difficult.
