The beach and neighboring beaches are some of the most beautiful and magical beaches I've ever seen. These beaches have by far the best driftwood you'll ever find. Old growth redwood, yew wood, and Port Orford Cedar are common pieces. Most pieces have a finished look to them like nature sand blasted them itself.

Usually we absolutely love this place! Unfortunately the camp hosts have changed and things just arent the same. Chickens running everywhere... including in the restrooms and occupied tent sites. The "security" personnel they had on site was intoxicated by sun down each day and was not on the same page as the host at all. We were harassed several times by different people for the same misunderstanding and were told we needed to "cough up" more money! Very unprofessional and cursed at us more than once! I was not impressed and won't be returning until someone else is in charge. 😠

Small county park with about 10 campsites. Has water, firewood, friendly host, and beautiful beach access. A great hidden place to stay when the bigger parks down south at Redwoods National and State Parks are all booked up.

Nice beach to walk along. Usually not many people. Small campground for tents with water (no potable). Nearby restrooms but no showers. Minimal fee to camp overnight. Camping area is located in a meadow about 15 feet above the beach. Approximately 10 camp sites.
