Clayton Dry Cleaners

I've been to these cleaners twice and both times came away disappointed. The first time shorted me a pair of pants and only a tirade on my part got that resolved. A year later and a name change (they are now called Friendly Cleaners) I foolishly thought to give this another go, mainly because it's a block from our house. They ruined two dress shirts and a silk item and, of course, this was my fault. So now I take my dry cleaning to Busy Bee in Newton, a longer drive but they've been there 40 years and know what they're doing. My advice is to stay away from this outfit at all costs. The name may of changed but the incompetence remains.

NEVER AGAIN!!! Decided to try this place because it was local to clean a sport coat for new years. Had to come back because it was not ready on the day they said to pick up. When I picked it up every single spot of dirt was still on it. It looked like it hadn't been touched!!! NEVER AGAIN will I use them!!!

my experience with the management has been amazing!!! Once I was late few minutes past closing time and was going away the next day... when i called the owner said she'd wait for me to come pick up my clothes. Great service and great work!!!

Terrible place! I dropped of a King size duvet because it doesn't fit in my wash machine. The guy told me it can be washed and cleaned very easily and pick up should be in 3 days for appr. $35 which was great ( in other places I pay $40+ for the same size duvet), after a week I got a phone call to pick up my order and I went 3 times to the place! It says open until 6:30pm but it was closed one time even before 5pm and the other two times before 6pm. I finally was able to pick up my duvet yesterday, first she could not find it and then in a pile of other stuff (I'm not sure it was clean!) there was my duvet! Not wrapped or covered, no just the blank duvet, the women put it in a plastic bag and ask for $45! NO way, I had $20 cash which I almost throw to her grabbed my duvet and left! I only came to this place because of the location and late business hours.I move recently into this neighborhood, but I definitely bring my stuff somewhere else. Do not use this place, if you care about your stuff!

Decided to try out the local dry cleaner, as everyone seems to need one sooner or later. Dropped off 9 items, counted them in front of the front desk lady She said, "Is this a rush?" "No, just regular service", I said. "You come and pick them up next Monday!" she replied. (This was 7 days away! 7 days for nine items) I left there thinking I would give them the benefit of the doubt, and return a few days later. Come Monday, I sent my wife to pick up our goods. Sure enough, 8 items were returned with no explanation as to why? "Maybe you wrote it down wrong" was the only excuse that was presented. One time is all I need to determine that this IS NOT a company I wish to do business with. They were unorganized, unmotivated, unkept, and overall very lacklustre. I will be venturing further and trying to find a simple, reliable, organized dry cleaner for my future needs. DON'T BOTHER - THEY AREN'T WORTH THE FRUSTRATION!
