I was looking for having my comforter cleaned. Mike, the owner, not only cleaned it but also folded it nicely in a brand new comforter bag. The attention to detail was top notch. And the price is very affordable. For sure I will come back for his dry cleaning services again. Worth the extra miles travel from Vancouver to Langley.

IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I WOULD. They made me pay extra to wash my wedding dress and ruined it by putting it thorugh a machine which made all the gems from the belt fall out. That they said they would remove the belt but clearly didn't. The silk on the dress had rips and tears as the gems and belt had gotten caught while it was being washed. It was a terrible experience the man (Mike) who works the front desk yelled at me called me a liar and still made me pay to get back my ruined dress. He made me feel terrible and treated me like I was not worth the business. This was my wedding dress and extremely important to me and they ruined that for me. DO NOT TRUST YOUR IMPORTANT CLOTHS WITH THIS BUSINESS! I would also like to mention my experience was strikingly similar to Johnathan's below. Mike is an extremely rude person and truly does make you feel like you ruined your own clothing. Everything said in Johnathan's comment mirrors my experience when trying to explain my ruined dress to Mike. It was an extremely disappointing and heartbreaking experience and left me feeling terrible for weeks. I still had to pay for the entire dry cleaning.

I chose this location to dry clean for the first time my Burberry trench coat because of the 5 star google reviews. Also, when I called in to ask if they dry cleaned high end clothing, I spoke to Mike who was very pleasant over the phone and assured me he does multiple high end coats like mine and has had no issues. When I dropped off my coat, Mike was friendly and confident about cleaning my coat and boasted how his family run business uses top end machines and process free of harmful chemicals to clean their clothes. I trusted Mike. I️ chose to dry clean my coat that I️ only wore a couple of times because I dropped it on the floor. When I picked up my coat today, he handed me the coat and the belt separately. While putting the belt on the coat, I initially noticed that my belt buckle was missing, I️ told Mike about it and he told me that it is probably fried in the machine and offered to provide me with a new one, which he claims will look similar but not the same. It being a $2000 coat, I told him that I’ll call Burberry to see if they can supply me with a replacement buckle. I left disappointed but understanding that sometimes businesses can make mistakes as I️ also run a business of my own and mistakes happen. However when I got into my car to check the rest of the coat, there were buttons falling off, a button missing, stitching coming out in multiple places, iron mark in the shape of a button and discolouration and stains on the coat. Being concerned about the dry cleaning process I immediately took it back to show Mike. When I pointed out the damages to my coat, him and his father put the blame on me implying that I damaged the coat beforehand. I told him that I checked the coat prior and it was free of damages as it is nearly new and they then started to tell me that the coat is a defect and that I bought quote “sh@$ty quality clothing”. When I asked about where my button went, Mike told me that sometimes they fall off and they can’t do anything about it and turned his back on me while his father kept implying that I am the one who damages my coat. I tried to be reasonable and asked to work together to find a resolution but Mike and his father told me to go deal with the manufacturer. I expressed my disappointment and asked for a refund as my coat was severely damaged due to their cleaning process. Mike and his father continued to frame me as if I damaged my coat on purpose. They language and demeanour became more violent and once I told them that they should take some responsibility, Mike told me to get out and walked away. I am very disappointed not only at the quality of the cleaning but more at how Mike and his father chose to deal with the situation. Mike was a complete different person from the nice and friendly guy he was when I initially met him. I witnessed the true side of Mike when I confronted him with a problem and that is not someone I would trust to leave my clothes with as he did not take any responsibility for it. I don’t like to leave negative Google reviews, but I feel like customers should beware. Attached are photos of my coat after the dry cleaning process.

Reply to the owner: Mike, thank you for your response. As I have stated in my original transcript, you've handed me the belt and jacket separately (please review security footage if applicable). Then, I only noticed the buckle (pin) is missing when I went to put the belt around the jacket to tie it behind my coat, so I can wear it out. At that time, I didn't notice the seam from the chain on the inside of the jacket open up. This is something I pointed out to you when I returned to you after I inspected the coat on my way out. You mentioned the pin is most likely toast in the dry cleaning machine and did offer to replace the entire leather buckle - there's no doubt you tried to help initially, which is why I said I will first see if Burberry can supply me with a replacement part as you advised me the buckle was a defect. I returned immediately a minute later to show you the other damages I noticed on the coat (please review security footage). I never once claimed to have called Burberry. In fact, you advised me after I have disclosed all the damages to you to call Burberry to let them know that this jacket is defective and offered to draft a letter and email to me indicating that the jacket was damaged in a normal dry cleaning process, which I never received from you. I cherish and own multiple coats and it is customary to rotate through them and wear each piece a few times a year. There are damages other than the missing button and broken pin you have indicated - your press machine imprinted an irreversible button mark on my jacket and the chemicals from the dry cleaning process left stains and discoloration in multiple places. The threading on my jacket came out very worn out and torn as well as depicted in the pictures I've uploaded. Despite being upset at the fact my jacket has been significantly damaged, I was very reasonable with my request to have this issue resolved. Instead, you turned your back on me while your father was pointing his index finger towards me and raising his voice at me. I understand Bluewater is a family run business and you are proud owners. However, as evidenced by the tone and nature of your response seconded by how you and your father treated me in your place of business, there is no sense of accommodation to assist or even own up to your mistakes. You did admit to the pin and button falling off in the cleaning process and the press machine imprinting the button mark on my jacket, but nothing was done to satisfy me or help me as a customer other than telling me to take a hike and deal with the manufacturer. In your response, you are now avoiding all fault, and you have chosen to construe the facts, which reveals your character, which directly implies how your business is run. When I pointed out the other damages, you turned your back and your father became very defensive and extremely aggressive towards me. As there was nothing your business will do to make right, I was left with no choice but to leave a transcript of the event that has existed, so other customers can beware. I don't doubt you have very happy customers and you know your stuff when it comes to the dry cleaning process. Running a business means mistakes do happen whether it's 1 out of 10 or 1 out of 100 times. I believe trust is built when a business knows how to handle customers that have issues with the quality of the service provided. If a garment is not to a client's satisfaction, work with them to correct it. You just ruined a customer's coat for a quick $20, and that really reflects on how you conduct business. This is not the first time a client has said this to you, but you truly displayed ignorance and arrogance as if it were a virtue.
