**Avoid This Hotel Company at All Costs!**nnAs a local from Medicine Hat, I chose to stay at this hotel while coming into town to visit my father for a quick trip. It was a decision I deeply regret. Despite paying over the phone and being assured multiple times that everything was set for our check-in, we encountered a nightmare upon arrival. The staff suddenly demanded a $500 cash deposit and refused several of my cards, even though they had previously confirmed that no additional payment was required.nnTo make matters worse, their ATM was “conveniently” out of service, and the nearest one was far away. We told them we would be back as soon as possible, hurried to get the cash, but by the time we returned, they had canceled our room WITHOUT our permission and refused to refund our payment. They claimed it was against their policy to issue a refund, despite the fact that they were the ones who canceled our room, all while we were attempting to comply with their unreasonable demands.nnThe manager refused to speak with us or negotiate, forcing us to sleep in our car during a torrential storm. It was clear that they prioritize taking money over guest care. This is not typical Medicine Hat behavior, and it’s disgraceful that they left us stranded while keeping our money without providing any service.nnAvoid this place at all costs. You’re better off buying a tent and sleeping outside, at least then you’d have something to show for your payment and a guaranteed place to stay. These scammers cannot be trusted and are only interested in exploiting their guests. Do better.

Stayed for one night, we checked in at 10pm, welcomed by friendly and accommodating staff. They let us know the pool is closed for major renovations. Rooms were clean, a bit dated and minor maintenance issues, the heating system didn’t seem to work in our room but the cool temperature wasn’t an issue. Bed was pretty comfortable too. Breakfast was included in our stay, average hotel breakfast buffet nothing to complain about. Good value choice!

I have stayed before and it was a good hotel. Now with the new management it’s a lot better. Alex, jay, Mike… seemed to have turned it around and made it a comfortable hotel I’d like to return to when I’m in the area. Friendly and helpful to veterans as well.

Didn't get the check in gift being a gold member with choices. Didn't get the bonus points either. Rooms needed a good steam cleaning. Next door room had their alarm clock going off all night.. bed was comfortable. For the price you pay..

Staff was great, beds were comfy and enjoyed the complementary hot breakfast.nWe had a family room with 3 queen beds which was really nice but found the cleanliness of our room subpar.
