Our business philosophy is ‘the fighter comes first’. Whether that fighter (male or female) is an amateur, professional or corporate boxer, their needs, safety, health and fitness goals are our first concern. CBA will help you determine your fight path and what that means for you! All our classes support our members in becoming a bettter boxer and athlete. Learning the sport of boxing is challenging, fun, and most of all the benefits are; better health, strength of mind & body, and finally reaching your fight weight!

Came here for a single boxing fitness class during the weekend and it was awesome being in a facility filled with professionals working on their craft. The staff and boxers there are extremely nice and they welcome you in with open arms. The facility has a full-sized boxing ring, numerous amounts of heavy bags and the upstairs portion is a room where you can warm up and do other workouts. The class itself is an amazing workout while they introduce you to new combos and partner work. Guaranteed you'll work up a sweat, learn technique and be motivated. Clancy's is not intimidating for a first-time visitor and they are extremely professional while teaching you.
I have been a member for 2 years now. I never did martial arts before and my fitness was not good before joining. Today I know how to punch, my technique is tons better, endurance and strength is much improved. Most important this is a friendly, non intimidating club. If you want to spar and train for amateur boxing they have great coaches there and is a more advanced group. There are also many beginner or intermediate boxers who never receive a hard punch. They have very popular women classes and and a strength and conditioning class that will leave you gasping. Washrooms are clean. They make some great health drinks plus a mean expresso. Nothing negative to say about Clancy's. Very well run by people who try hard.
A friendly, clean, inspiring and motivating environment that makes you want to work harder every time you come in. Truly a great place to exercise and join in the mutual love for boxing and hard work. Great staff and coaches eager to teach, joke and let you learn from their vast experience and passion. Love it.
I loved my first class at clancy's boxing academy. I tried the girls just want to box class, which was a full body workout including a circuit, punching bag activity and core workout. Both instructors we're very motivational and the group dynamic was nice. I will definitely be going back.
What a welcome addition to Toronto’s boxing scene. Clancy’s Boxing Academy is a great facility, with top-notch equipment, staff and trainers such as Rico Mancini to name one. CBA has an overall vision and variety of classes that’ll challenge and motivate you, no matter your age or fitness level from beginner to elite athlete. The club has a really nice lounge area overlooking the training room/ring, and even espresso, if you need a spot to wait until class starts. Don’t let the relaxed atmosphere fool you though, class will make you work hard. If you want a positive club environment in which you’ll have fun, learn and constantly improve, this is it.
I've only been training at Clancy's for about a month and I'd have to say they really make you feel a part of the family! Rico is an awesome trainer and the girls at the front are very friendly and informative. If it wasn't for them I would not be signing up for another 3 months.
I've trained with the team at CBA and it truly is an amazing experience, they push you to give it your all and help you to be your best. They have such a great variety of programs to offer, they aren't your typical boxing gym. Their programs range from beginners to professional and have special programs for the little ones. They have a wonderful program called "G-JWB" which allows the ladies to be in a positive environment, with other ladies like yourself while training and developing your skills.
Walking into this place feels like you are in a huge industrial loft space in a really cool neighborhood in NYC. Its not what I expected for a boxing gym. T=Its modern and clean with a health shop and espresso cafe. Its a bit hard to find but well worth it. I did one of the girls bootcamp classes and it was awesome. I go to the gym, do crossfit and play tons of sports and I have to say this was my favorite. It doesn't matter if you have never boxed, the conditioning is great, I'm totally planning to go back and I'm certain I'm going to shred some serious final lbs. that have been clinging on from winter.
A very good first lesson. A good workout although I seem to have forgotten how to skip, and we even got into some punching and footwork. The only con was that it was a bit hard to hear the trainer, and because it was my first time, he spoke a little quickly when explaining things, so I had to ask him to repeat himself a few times. Overall though...great.
Clancy's Boxing Academy is different than any fitness centre I have been too. The vibe is amazing as soon as you walk in the front door and the look and feel of CBA is unique and organic on many levels. You gotta see it!!! My first boxing training session EVER with Rico Mancini was well structured and energising. I'm hooked!!!!
