City Hall - City of Regina

What can you say about city hall? They always are collecting my money. If not for property taxes, then for parking tickets! The staff are friendly.

I’m extremely disappointed in city of Regina and its ongoing failure to deal with the constant noise pollution caused by cars revving their engines, and backfiring, burning rubber, and racing up and down our streets — often late into the night.nnThis isn’t a one-time thing. This has become a regular disruption. These vehicles shatter the peace of our neighbourhoods at all hours — including early mornings and past midnight — and the silence from City Hall and enforcement speaks volumes. It’s more than just loud cars — it’s a blatant disregard for public peace, safety, and respect for residents that live in the downtown corennIt’s hard to believe a city that claims to care about “livability” and “community” continues to allow this kind of behavior without real action. Where is the bylaw enforcement? Where are the fines? Where is the follow-through? Because right now, all we’re hearing are high revving backfiring engines, not leadership.nnThis kind of thoughtlessness and lack of action reflects poorly on the people in charge of this city. The message it sends is clear: residents’ quality of life comes second to reckless noise and street racing.nnWe deserve better.

Parking tickets are.getting out of hand. Going downtown is awful enough as it is these days, but then I pay for parking and STILL get a ticket? No thanks....

Unprofessional people, rude and not helpful. They made a huge mistake when paying for my taxes, keep in mind the staff did everything on my phone and completely screwed me over. 0/10

If I could put 0 I would. This is in terms of street parking only and street sweeping. An important reminder to citizens of Regina to take photographic proof of street sweeping signage that they post or any other signage, anything city related now . I would not be surprised if this happened with others before. I am very disappointed in the dis honesty of the city in terms of street sweeping. My street was being swept and there were signs up all week indicating it would be swept on a Tuesday. They swept on Monday, tore down the signage from the tree where my car was parked and placed a Tuesday sign and took a photo , had moved my car obviously and left me with a ticket. I had a gut feeling to take a picture the night before Monday on Sunday to take a photo of the signage and I did not. That would have been my solid evidence to show in court as they do not do polygraph lie detectors in municipal court . So here is an expensive lesson learned for me & also for everyone else to make sure they take photos of the signage they post because unfortunately there is some dishonesty within the city here, and to be honest that would make a citizen of the city wary now . It’s unfortunate that I have to now take photographic evidence of this stuff now because of dishonesty. I had to call back to tell the person on the phone to please educate their employees on putting the proper signage up & to let them know I will now be having to remind other citizens in Regina of this occurrence and of course now I’m unfortunately writing a review because I would like to let citizens of Regina be aware of this . And I also do hope that this review goes further into their management and supervision processes and teaches their staff to be more honest about the procedures they put I place.
