3pm, Christmas Season and they have 1 teller working. I counted 7 sitting in offices while myself and other customers waited. 20 minutes in and a staff member brings me to the reception desk to "help" me. I advise her I wanted to close my accounts. After 10 minutes of taking my info and typing away she told me she would have to get another staff to help. Long and short of it is I cancelled my accounts including a GIC and then was informed a written letter needed to be faxed to request this and it would be 30 - 45 days till I received my funds. Scam artists. Never again CIBC.

Staff have no idea what they're doing. Horrible at getting you what you need, dont listen, no attention to detail. Manager couldnt care about the customers. Very slow customer service.

Lack of adequate parking makes this location unusable, for now at least (nearby parking has been taken up with obvious contractor vehicles due to the staggering incompetence of city parking enforcement), but at least there aren't the outrageous waiting times like the UW campus branch.
