Chinook Regional Hospital

Was in for a diabetic emergency. They wouldn't give me any water. So when I walked myself into the bathroom to get some the den a very round man into the bathroom io insult and assault me. Would not recommend this establishment. More like an organized gang than a hospital. These people are the main reason you need to record every interaction you have. Even in supposedly safe spacesnnLuckily I went to another doctor who actually cared, and wasn't concerned about how much enjoyment they get out of watching a grown man pee himself. Which is what these guys did. I wasn't allowed to use the washroom, so I had to ask for their pee cup every single time. Wish I had know about the lifetime it take to retrieve one of these things I would of just went on the floor instead of my pant thinking they cared in the slightest. Anyways I have a major infection on my uvula that they didn't diagnose properly. This other guy took only a few minutes to determine what was wrong. Am now on antibiotics.nnZero stars should be an option. Because these people take pleasure watching you suffer

Visited the hospital for an emergency and experienced a 4-hour wait to see the doctor after my assessment by the triage nurse. While I didn't mind the wait because of my situation , I couldn't help but noticed that individuals with more urgent medical needs were also waiting, and there didn't appear to be any immediate attention provided to them.nUpon speaking with the staff, they explained that they had only one doctor available, which was causing the extended wait times.nWhile I'm not an expert in these matters, I observed that other hospital departments seemed to have an excess of staff engaged in administrative tasks, chatting, and socializing, with minimal workloads.nIt struck me that reallocating resources / funds to where they are most needed departments could ensure that people receive timely care before emergencies escalate.

From my experience, I have nothing but positive things to say about this hospital. The staff from the prenatal clinic, to labour and delivery, and the inpatient unit were all fantastic. I am very grateful to Cassidy and her student and Dr. Hackett. They were extremely efficient, compassionate and calm, which helped me out immensely during labour. The ladies in the inpatient unit added nice little touches to the 24 hour stay by adding lovely artistic drawings to our daughter's name tag, and moved us to a quieter room. Having moved from Ontario, I can honestly say the care received here is phenomenal and the best I have experienced! Thank you to all the front line staff for all your hard work!!

I don't know, there supposed to be a health care facility but they take more coffee breaks than anything everything I'm there I've noticed . . They don't have a physician you can talk to just for minor tbi gs that you could help yourself at with. Specially when u can't get in , they say call an am glance then u have to complete an assessment before they decide if they can come out to get you when u live in the country . It should all be health care . Period ambulance rides and what not . Specially when they could just tell over the phone what's wrong and offer some advice quick do the people who really need to be seen can be . And your not plugging up waiting room fir hours on end .

I recently visited this hospital and was very impressed with the professionalism and care from the staff. I was informed that they were short on doctors at the time, but despite that, everyone remained patient, attentive, and compassionate. I really appreciate the hard work and dedication they showed — it didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you to the whole team.
