Chinook Regional Hospital

Andrea at the EEG clinic was the absolute best person I have ever met at this hospital. She was kind and patient and helped me through the whole process with a smile. Definitely the best experience I have had with an EEG.nnAlso I had an ultrasound and my tech was kind and compassionate. Both of these women made the anxiety of medical appointments so much less intense.

wait times are ridiculous.. my boyfriend who’s been here once before went in a few years ago wait was about a good few hours left and came back and they still called him back. we went last night at around 10:30 left came back at around 3:45 - 4am as the wait was 6 hours. started from square one again, whatever not my whole point. his condition is pretty severe, and only people were getting called in for blood work, and two maybe three people got called back between 4-8:45… ridiculous. i know and understand there was one doctor on shift and they were beyond max capacity doubling rooms and such. but at least have a few more doctors on night shift.

Visited the hospital for an emergency and experienced a 4-hour wait to see the doctor after my assessment by the triage nurse. While I didn't mind the wait because of my situation , I couldn't help but noticed that individuals with more urgent medical needs were also waiting, and there didn't appear to be any immediate attention provided to them.nUpon speaking with the staff, they explained that they had only one doctor available, which was causing the extended wait times.nWhile I'm not an expert in these matters, I observed that other hospital departments seemed to have an excess of staff engaged in administrative tasks, chatting, and socializing, with minimal workloads.nIt struck me that reallocating resources / funds to where they are most needed departments could ensure that people receive timely care before emergencies escalate.

Dr. Tariq Sumrein was one of the best doctors I have interacted with! He was very patient and understanding, listened to all my needs and I did not feel judged once. He was very informative when any information needed to be shared with me. He is defiantly a doctor that cares about his patients! 10/10

Was in for a diabetic emergency. They wouldn't give me any water. So when I walked myself into the bathroom to get some the den a very round man into the bathroom io insult and assault me. Would not recommend this establishment. More like an organized gang than a hospital. These people are the main reason you need to record every interaction you have. Even in supposedly safe spacesnnLuckily I went to another doctor who actually cared, and wasn't concerned about how much enjoyment they get out of watching a grown man pee himself. Which is what these guys did. I wasn't allowed to use the washroom, so I had to ask for their pee cup every single time. Wish I had know about the lifetime it take to retrieve one of these things I would of just went on the floor instead of my pant thinking they cared in the slightest. Anyways I have a major infection on my uvula that they didn't diagnose properly. This other guy took only a few minutes to determine what was wrong. Am now on antibiotics.nnZero stars should be an option. Because these people take pleasure watching you suffer
