Chili Bowl

Great friendly staff, always polite to my children when they get food after school. Private owned. Food price moderate. Great food and variety. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was good and the food was good but unfortunately the cook/owner does not seem to worry about cross contamination. As he was cooking our food he awnsered the phone, wrote down a order, pulled his pants up and than returned to cooking our food/grabbing the hot dogs & sandwich with his bare hands. The phone is one of the dirtiest items in a restaurant. We continued to watch him after receiving our food and never once did he wash them. Even after handling the raw meat. His hands went into the bun warmer, into the hot dogs, onions etc. All of those items and locations are now contaminated. If it wasn't for this situation I would have left a 5 star. Please wash those hands anytime you leave the grill or touch raw meat!

Love the cheeseburger with an egg they make. Other good stuff too. Oh and cash only, please.

Great place. Outstanding atmosphere with probably the chillest people running the show. The food is outstanding and made fresh daily at a steal of a price. Like 2 chilli dogs, chips, and a drink for 5 bucks. Clearly one of the best diners I've ever been to.
