Since May, 1986, the store (formerly The Old Kitchen Cupboard Ltd.) operated in the unique and upscale Belmont Village section of Kitchener, Ontario. From this relatively high traffic, high profile location, the business became known for providing a friendly atmosphere and a wide range of high quality natural foods, vitamins and supplements as well as certified organic produce and meats to its insightful customers. In October, 2015, Phyllis and Greg Sprout purchased the store, and since then, they and their highly trained staff have focused on offering excellent quality local, natural and organic products, at competitive prices, backed by experienced, friendly and reliable service. Already, several hundred new items have been added to the store’s product mix and there are plans to constantly add many, many more. There is an unmistakable “buzz of excitement” as new and regular customers enter the store!
