Had 19 items and just went in line for the express, the cashier after ringing in a couple items told me that this is the express lane for 15 items or less... I bought 4 of the same item and 3 of the same of another item, I looked at her like is my math wrong or are you just trying to be difficult. I also packed the 2 bags that I needed and still charged me .15 per bag.... I literally will stop packing my own bags in order to speed things up.... such a lost concept paying for bags when the customer does the pqcking

Called in before I came in to inquire about some pork belly they had on sale this week. I believe his name is spelt Ward but he was real friendly and helped me locate the product and gave me more information on it. As I came into the store, Scott another worker working in the butcher shop aka the meat department was nice to me too as he helped me. What good guys, thanks!

To be honest, I have shopped here because there are no Metro stores here but it is a nice store especially after the renovations they did. Huge selection of pre cooked food including pizza. Beer and wine too.

Can't tell you how many times I've NOT bought beer there because my $2 brand is sold out - empty in the cooler by afternoon. Tonight at 10pm I happen to notice a 5 foot stack of it, warm, mid-aisle. Who'd a' thought? Why would they only restock the cooler overnight? Because they're lazy.

Love this Sobeys store at Bridgeport plaza! If you cant find things anywhere you can pretty much always find them at this store. The customer service folks are always helpful and friendly.

They are pretty expensive compared with other nearby stores. but it is definitely worth buying their produce. It's the best quality I've seen around.

For the high prices the fruit is terrible, often moldy and poor quality, breads and milk have quick expiry dates and frequently low and out of items. I don't know why I keep going back...

The fresh fruit/salad counter is amazing. I called 2 ask if they had the tropical fruit salad they had Friday. They didn't but they made it fresh. The ladies on the fresh counter are always really good, they made a Cesar salad with out the bacon for me. Just give them time and they will prepare it for you when possible.
