Central Fresh Market

Quality produce/ grocery and more stores, within core. Walkable to or public transport. Their meat is good, stock is fresh and been supported by locals and passersby for many years.nOpen later than any other stores, close to hospital, between Kitchener and Waterloo. Area is now called MidTown between the two cities. Staff are helpful, patient and kind.

I stopped by Central today. I have not been there in ages. Nothing much changed, except their prices are through the roof. Zehrs or Sobeys is cheaper and that is not saying much. Over 5 dollars for spaghetti sauce. Stalk of celery was 5 dollars. Everything seemed to be a few dollars more then everywhere else. This store is not very convenient to get too. The Ion ruined that. Their staff is not very friendly. Not like the old days. I was in utter shock. Back to zehrs, sobeys, or robert boxed meats. Central what happened. Think twice before shopping here if you have a family.nReally to bad.....

I really like the store. Some really great different items can be found. The card selection is so good! The only thing I have not appreciated are there baked goods. I have tried many of them and they never taste very good. Just yesterday I bought 6 plain biscuits for $6 and they were not fresh. And all you could taste was baking soda in abundance. I have not enjoyed the danishes or the cinnamon buns either.

Haven’t been here in so long used to come to the fresh deli in highschool and I’ll tell you not a lot has changed and in a good way!! The chicken buckets and wedges prices are still so reasonable and amazing quality also I had the joy of meeting Lucy today who worked the counter she was amazing had to ask for her name so I could leave a review for her!! Thanks guys :

I absolutely love the fresh cut meats. Cut and package all different sizes. I even found RAGU sauce. Beef tallow, if you have not tried it, it's a MUST. Great, once it's been melted down, crinkle cut fries and Molasses cookies. The flavor is amazing. Staff are extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly.
