Chatters Hair Salon

My girlfriend and I went there for the first time and had a horrible experience. All we wanted was highlights and the hairdresser actually gave both of us a full colour. My girlfriends hair actually turned green and gray after it was done. Mine still showed gray. We went back the next day and they tried to fix our hair and now my girlfriends hair is yellow and orange and now because of all the chemicals that they used it is not soft. We will never set foot in any chatters salon ever again

Had a horrible experience with Jackie today. I was scared to book just with anyone but thought to myself, who could screw up something as simple as conditioning...but lesson learnt. Jackie was so ROUGH AND tugged my hair like I had no feeling in my scalp. She said she’d send me off in a braid and I thought that meant just like how Star did it for me before, but Jackie washed it all out and then proceeded to comb my hair soaking wet. From what I know, you’re not supposed to comb hair wet as it can break and you lose hair that way. I asked her to stop. I walked out upset. Told the girl at the desk that I was not happy and she wanted to have Jackie put the conditioner in my hair again. I was like hell no! I didn’t tip. So angry..I lost a bunch of hair with jackie..locks came off... I’m in my car in tears writing this review. I showed her all the hair that cane off and she looked at me and didn’t say anything and told me to have a good day in a hurry. Really???! Wow. My scalp feels like it’s been through the ringer and is so sore driving home 😪 Had a good experience with Star a few weeks back, when I went in for deep conditioning. She put it in my hair and suggested for me go home in a braid so that I could leave it in as long as I wanted. Will go see Star now in and make sure not to book with Jackie. :( Maybe Chatters should be more consistent and not hire people who can’t even do a conditioning satisfactorily.

It was a great experience from beginning to end. The ladies working the floor/till were friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Erin cut my hair and did an amazing job. She is very experienced and knows exactly what she is doing.

The lady who is cutting my daughter’s hair is so rude it won’t matter what the cut turns out like, we won’t be back. My daughter is a nervous person in new scenarios and this is her first time here and she made her feel horrible. She’s 10. She wouldn’t let me stand by her because of “traffic” but she had the farthest station against the wall, no traffic unless they walk through walls. Worst service ever.

Doubled the prices. 40 bucks for men's from 23 or so. Bad business decision. Staff is amazing, very much so. But they lost my business.
