Disgusting. The greeting staff here should take a walk over to The Chatham-Kent Black Historical Society and Black Mecca Museum and get a clue that racism should be in the past. After turning away a black woman with her child because they didn’t have an appointment and then admitting right after a white man with 2 children with no appointment and another white family with 1 child with no appointment, some consideration should given to the training of the greeting staff. People’s ability or ease to receive medical care should not be based on the colour of their skin or someone’s racial bias.

Called to ask when their next walk in for writing the Food Handlers quiz was. Secretary was no help, acted like she had no idea what I was talking about at first and then transferred me to someone who sent me to voicemail. Not sure why its so hard to just be nice to someone on the phone but unnecessarily rude secretaries seem to be a theme in Chatham-Kent.

A little confusion on entering the building but friendly staff got us in and out quickly.

The programs and services that they offer to mothers and children are great.
