Built in 1838, this beautiful home has been a city landmark for 174 years! Fairholm has undergone a detailed restoration to its original splendor and is now a Five Star Inn and one of Canada's National Historic Sites. We are conveniently located on a large tree-lined property right in downtown Charlottetown; steps away from the the waterfront, restaurants, theatre and shopping, and a short drive to beaches and golf courses. I've stayed at the Fairholm properties multiple times and they've always maintained the highest standard of excellence. The Innkeeper Brooke is warm and welcoming along with his terrific staff. The rooms are delightful, the breakfast is outstanding and the property is perfect of strolling. All in all it's the ideal place to stay in Downtown Charlottetown.

lovely meal and drinks with a great ambionce. servers were pleasent and not overly pushy. They addressed our needs and wants in a timely manner

My visit to the Historic Inn, was extraordinary from my arrival to check out. The staff was exceptional and offered warm hospitality along with their outstanding rooms and delicious food. This cozy, clean and exquisitely decorated Inn was a delight in every sense of the word.
