I had the absolute sweetest pickup experience today January 1, 2026 and I am still smiling about it. You literally just click a button and the associate comes so fast. The staff member who helped me had short wavy hair, the prettiest cream floral sweater from Old Navy which she told me herself and jeans, and the kindest smile. I did not catch her name but she was genuinely so sweet, so hard working, and made everything feel easy and comforting.nnShe was seriously a bundle of joy with the warmest sunshine energy. Real girls support girls vibes with no gatekeeping at all.nnThis Indigo location feels so cozy and warm. It does not have that super modern renovated vibe and I honestly love that. It still feels like the old Chapters which makes me so nostalgic because that bookstore feeling is everything.nnThe store is super clean, well organized, and has such a good selection. They had 2 laptop sleeves available and I was so happy they gave me the clean one because the other one looked a little dusty. That attention to detail really meant a lot.nnHuge thank you to whoever packed my order too. I placed it and it was packed in about 20 minutes and ready for pickup. I live in another city in York Region so it is about a 30 to 45 minute drive, but it was honestly so worth it because of how smooth and convenient everything was.nnThey also had such a great Jellycat selection. There were so many cute ones and I totally understand why some of the more expensive ones were kept behind the staff counter or at the back since prices have gone up so much lately. I even missed one Jellycat that I saw online. I remember ordering big Jellycats years ago for about $25 to $30 dollars especially the seasonal Christmas ones before they became so popular so it was kind of emotional seeing how much the price has increased due to supply and demand.nnI am also so grateful that this location was open on New Year’s. I have a really busy schedule coming up and being able to pick it up today saved me another trip. Huge thank you to all the staff for working so hard during the holiday. I know it is not easy and I really appreciate every single one of you.nnSmooth pickup, cozy vibes, kind hearts, perfect experience. This store truly feels like a safe little happy place and I will definitely be back!
This is a great store. Tons of books to choose from, plus a lot of homey gifts to be found, like candles, mugs, blankets, and all the stuff one might find comfy when reading. Tons of Christmas gift possibilities in there. It was well organized and the staff were friendly, especially for a busy holiday season!

The selection is fantastic, with everything from bestsellers to hidden literary treasures, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.nWith a charming little cafe, it’s a perfect place to slow down, escape reality, and immerse yourself in the joy of reading.nYou’ll walk in for one book and leave with your arms full, and a heart full of literary joy
Was looking for a book, called the store and Gabe, a very professional person spoke to me and was able to place my book on hold. I appreciate the level of care and professionalism and I’m sure I’ll have an amazing experience at the store as well. Thank you Gabe! I have not been there for almost 2 years. When I stepped into the bookstore, it gave me a warmth feeling. Like it is a new store. Not sure if it was renovated or else. But I am glad it is always there. See you soon.
