Bullying, lying, incompetent, and unkind. Both Mike Channers owner, short, protruding stomach and Bill white hair, glasses claimed that the tailor did a perfect job at mending a shirt attached. My hope is that they were blatantly lying because if they truly deem this a perfect job, both Mike and Bill are incompetent. They chose bullying a resolution strategy. Bill had his hand in my face as he aggressively argued there was not a problem with the tailoring. Mike’s strategy at establishing dominance in conversation was to wave his finger at me, signaling that I ought to approach him to discuss the matter. This is cartoonish and showcases a lack of civility.
Do not go here. Trust me it is not worth the behaviours of certain employees aka BilI who I definitely see why he gets all the terrible reviews. This guy is horrible , rude , condescending and was literally cussing about my parents and I infront of me. He was swearing and yelling at his co-worker not to sell to us . Why do you only treat CERTAIN individuals like this? Really sketch if you know what I mean. Because if that is so, that is pretty messed up. And why didn't the owner intervene when you started mumbling and swearing at us?, even after I let it known that I can hear you? He's probably the same tbh. And the reason why you went from 0-100 , aggressive and angry , was because we told you the scanned price did not match the tagged price on the jacket. And then you proceeded to LIE and tell us that the tagged price was just a mistake and that it's not the real price and that it's actually 100$ more expensive. I literally explained very calmly that the price should be what is tagged. Even so, since you had such a horrible attitude I left with that jacket and paid the higher price , only to find out that it was indeed priced CORRECTLY as I saw it was the same price as tagged onlinefor your store. Not only did you just try to scam us and lie but you started cussing at us for literally your store's mistake. I did indeed go back there and get my price adjustment and was served by a different employee who was normal and a gentlemen. What is worse from the initial interaction with Bill was that the owner was there and did nothing. Really shows that he and Bill are probably the same . 0/10 would not recommend. Something really fishy about this place.
Second time shopping here. Outstanding service from Mike. Found some great items. Left happy. Will return.
I have tried to visit this store several times but have always had the worst customer service. Not once was I greeted, welcomed or asked if I needed any assistance. The staff always look you up and down and never gave me the time of day, just awful. They have a wonderful selection of products but nothing that can be found elsewhere where staff will greet you with respect.
Had a pleasant experience with Mark, who was extremely insightful with the selection of my jacket and pants.
Terrible customer service. I visisted the store in the fall, ready to purchase two pairs of Allen Edmonds. I was in the store for about 20 minutes trying on shoes and not once was I greeted by any one of the numerous staff. There is no excuse to stand around chatting to your coworkers when there are customers in the store. I decided against giving Channer's my business. I am grateful though that I was able to find my size and purchase the shoes online.
Left some alterations on a very old suit to the last minute my own fault. No questions asked, they helped get what I needed done in under a week, even though I didn't purchase the suit with them. Ended up leaving with a replacement suit and a new shirt with a smile on my face. Bill was extremely eager to help without being pushy. Can't say I'm often impressed by retail service but this stood out. Shop local!
Mark at Channer's Mens Apparel helped myself, fathers, and groomsmen find suits for my wedding day. All of the guys were fitted, and any alterations were done in a timely manner. Excellent customer service & quality products. Highly recommend!
Just show up to buy a few suits and couldn't even get into the store and no care was given by the staff through this matter, total horrible experience from access!
What a great experience! A gentlemen named Mike helped me find the perfect tuxedo while demonstrating superb knowledge on each product he recommended. Highly recommend Channers! Ask for Mike and you'll be taken care of.
