Central Saanich Home Hardware

I'd like to see a bigger store but the staff are very nice and friendly and they have a decent supply of items considering their limited space. * I've edited my review to give them 5 stars. They found a better location and it's a bigger store :)

Local hardware shop. Can find most things you need. They do key cutting too which is handy. There is a small garden centre too. Not the cheapest place but not the most expensive either. Good customer service.

Absolutely terrible service. Shopped there for years, and went to warranty a hand tool purchased there with an "unconditional lifetime warranty" Refused to honor it with a receipt. Having dealt with companies like snap-on for years, that's absolutely unacceptable. With so many places actually standing behind what they sell, there is absolutely no reason to shop here.

Typically I have a great experience here. I'm there quite a bit for everything I need for my home. Usually nothing but great service. This morning, however, I had an emergency with my plumbing and was searching the isles like a fool with only one sales person who was helping a couple decide on what type a wrench to use. A conversation that was getting lengthy. Being that my issue was pressing, I simply said "pardon me, I'm just having a bit of an emergency, can you point me towards the plungers?" She looked up at me completely disgusted and angrily uttered "what?" So I motioned in a plunging manner and said "Sorry, plungers?" She replied with a snarky "upstairs". Shook her head and mumbled to the other customers something about me. Had it not been an emergency I could have waited. I did wait for a lull in thier conversation before I politely asked my quick question. She was extremely rude.
