I went for the gym, because Google mentioned there's a gym/fitness area. It's a struggle to find the fitness area. I almost left because walking up to the main building from the parking lot, appears it is just a meeting hall for gatherings. I called and was told it's the building in the far back, not connected to the main building. The fitness area is alright but disappointing. They have assistance machines for arms, legs and abs, quite a few treadmills, some benches and mirrors, and dumbbells. There are no barbells though which is my biggest issue. I would only come here if you want a lowkey atmosphere, and target upper body/cardio. The leg work outs aren't ideal because the machines kinda suck.
The recreation center is good. We went there to play batminton. They have a nice indoor place and equipment. I would certainly recommend going to this place if you can get a slot online.
Rented a portion of the facility for a buffet dinner. Venue much larger than anticipated. Friendly and helpful staff. Very bright, nice and clean.
Food was wonderful, venue was clean and easy to navigate, staff were helpful and polite.
These are Horse Chestnuts. I picked this from a tree on the corner lot exiting the southwest entrance. These are pricky for a reason, so beware of curious pickers in the area. I wore protective gloves when I took one apart, then found out some information on them afterwards.
Check out their seasonal calendar for an amazing array of activities with a lot of happy people!

Really enjoyed your sing along with the guitar player leading. Really helped to have song books typed up! A senior jamboree!!
The little known gem in the middle of the city. It is by far the largest Seniors centre in Edmonton. It's a must see
