1. It's a beautiful quiet spot in a residential neighborhood overlooking the amazing view of Bluffers Beach. 2. It's recommended not to cross the fence as the bluffs are risky to walk on. 3. Its a nice park to play, relax and let your pets run freely in the lush green park. 4. Nice views of the beach and sky through the trees along the edge. 5. Parking can be done on street next to the park.
Beautiful area summer, fall and even during the winter after a snow fall. Endless sights and breath taking views of the lake. Today over 100 photos and only one of them didn't turn out so I will be weeks sharing them. Great spot for family outings, hiking or just out for a walk and exercise. Perfect time during the pandemic to get out for some fresh air, peace and quite. Not over populated with people and today I only met up with one couple exercising.
Beautiful place but scary! KEEP BACK AT LEAST 3 FEET from edge! No barriers and earth sediment eroding underneath by at least 3 feet in some areas. This is the reason for extreme danger because if standing on edge it may collapse as there is no earth underneath! However, you have breath taking views of Lake Ontario and a yacthing club to your right. Signs everywhere stating DANGER so use at your own risk!
The cliff is on the top and away from the beach, you might have to drive awhile up to see the cliff. I personally like the cliffs because I’m not scared of heights, not recommended for people who are scared of heights though.
Don't think about the money, come here and hire a sun bed, it'll be a treat to yourself! There are you can enjoy drinks on the beach not sure on the food. It is also patrolled with a lifeguard in the vicinity. We hired sun beds here and found it really good with great service. We ate in their restaurant and on the beach front. The food was good but not cheap. The facilities are great with showers, clean toilets and carpets over the pebbles. We had a tab running all day for everything. We used this part of the beach as it was sheltered and safe. The staff were welcoming and attentive. It was a great overall experience ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍
It's a really gorgeous place, especially at sundown. The sky turns to cotton candy, and becomes cozy. At night time fireflies can be spotted. Great place to have a bbq and hangout with family and friends. . . Bonfires are great at this place but heavily frowned upon by police/guards, do this at your own risk.
Beautiful beach right in the city. Great for a picnic, bbq & swim. Water is quite clean with nice waves. Picnic area has some bbq pits but best to bring your own as they are usually taken & most of them are old. Also nice big rocks you can sit on & watch the water. Very peaceful place.
Small park on the cliff with view of beach. Cannot go to beach from there. Great place to view sunrise or sunset in winter.
Had actually gone to the beach for a while. Were forced to park at the park area as the beach parking was full. The beach had a rocky backdrop which I found to be quite unique. Normally you don't see this. It was a lovely sight as it was misty at times and it fooled you into thinking it was cold. For those who have been to Darjeeling in West Bengal, India- it's the same misty feeling you get. It's a lovely spot to have a picnic - people had carried their barbeques and the aromas were awesome. I noticed just one outlet selling ice creams and other knick knacks. All in all its a lovely spot and a must see for all.
Nice shallow Sandy Beach - always feels fresh to be here. You can talk a walk around the park, BBQ with friends, head to the beach and enjoy good time in water. Havnt tried the trek up the bluffs yet, can only imagine how bful it would be, especially around sun set - definitely on cards for next time. This beach is always lively with beach sports like volley, frisbee groups and groups having a good time. If you wanna try a jet ski session, ensure you book it ahead in time. Cons: Since this is one of the best beaches around Toronto, it can get really busy during weekends. Can be very difficult to find parking, public BBQ s or decent spots on the beach side. Just make it early in the day to be easy on yourself. In case you plan to visit the place later in the day, park your car 20-30 mins walk away from the beach and enjoy a good stroll down hill through nature. Just be aware, it can be a good exercise walking back up hill :
