This park is so beautiful. It's kind of quiet as well to walk in peace. Lots of greenery and a small water trail along the side. People are usually seen biking from one end to another. Walking the whole trail could probably take around 45 minutes to 1 hr if you walk slow like me. This is my go to park for everyday. There is also another side of the park that leads to Victoria Park.
Very nice park for bike rides and hiking with family and kids. If you wonder where the picnic sites are with the nearest parking lots, I have included two photos of the picnic site 3 one of the five picnic sites which is right next to a dog park. The closest parking lot to this picnic site is Charles Sauriol Park parking lot 450 meters, 5 minutes walk. Washrooms are on the other side of the park Dawes Rd., south from.St Clair where you can also find free parking lot and a water fountain. Closest picnic site to this parking lot is the picnic site 5. Hope this helps!
Great spot to take long walks. Lots of cyclists so make sure to be attentive. The park extends to other parks nearby so there is an abundance of paths to take. Was easy to find parking even on a Saturday afternoon. Overall would recommend checking out.
This is a huge park. We had a picnic at spot # 4. We had lots of fun. Kids enjoyed walking inside the forest. The park has parkings at the starting point and Halton avenue. Unfortunately, there is no washroom. This sucks. You have to shorten your trip due to washroom. The small river flowing in the middlle of trails is so panaromic. You feel like walking with a continuing music. This park is best for walking and cycling. Kids love to walk and play.
It's my first time visiting this park!!!! How lovely it is!!!! Nice weather, green trees and blue sky. I was so surprised to meet the huge bridge and the part is under it. Maybe I am not a good photographer but the park is awesome and beautiful. Enjoy walking in this park and taking good rest :
Very nice and serene place. Makes you feel very close to nature. There is a long trail to hike. We saw several kinds of birds. There’s a stream with clear water flowing. Some interesting spots to take selfies. We brought something to eat and we were so happy to find picnic tables and shades where we enjoyed our lunch and rest for a while. There is a big parking lot at the entrance.
The portion of the park I visited was clean. Not a lot of people visiting the park from what I could notice. Nice place to enjoy a nice walk or for quick jogging. Also for cycling except it's gonna be hard to bring the bicycle up and down the stairs to Victoria Park Street.
This is a wonderful park and one of my favourite parts of Toronto. The fall colours are not to be missed.
Off the main trails are some more rugged side trails winding up and down the slopes and across the top of some side spurs. Someone, has installed some very rudimentary bridges to cross gullies and windfalls. Can hardly believe it was city staff, but if it was them, kudos for keeping them appropriately rustic and not over-engineered or being overly-risk-averse.
Massive park that connects to the Don Valley trails. Easily accessible both by car and by a plethora of paths to the streets above the ravine. Many spacious grass areas, benches, washrooms, campfires, tables, etc. In the summer it can be a bit busy but it’s usually pretty peaceful in the middle of the weekdays otherwise.
