Casa Real

Great service (felt like I was in their home). Authentic food? Kinda. A bit too much cheese on everything to be authentic Mexican food.... but I'm not complaining. Everything was extremely delicious! You can't go wrong here. Try the Giant Burrito. Its legit 12"x6" and 4" high stuffed with the meat of your choice. Also, the Golden Tacos are great. Fried flour tortilla makes it super puffy and loaded with crunch.

3 waitresses on shift and no hostess in the front to seat you. My friend and I waited almost 30 minutes to be seated somewhere. The phone rings and rings and nobody answers it. Place wasn't that busy and our food took forever. I got tired of filling up on chips. The waitress was friendly and pleasant. She did her best despite the sweat on her forehead. (tells me they are short-staffed) Alot of their problems could be avoided if they would just hire more people...and not make A WAITRESS juggle the entire dining room! food was boring and flat too!

My 1 star review is based on my last experience I had at Casa Real. I went on my 21st birthday because I heard they have great drinks at affordable prices. Once I got there however, I was told it was against the law to serve me because my ID was vertical and not horizontal. I have been to Casa Real more times than I can count with people over 21 with vertical ID's and they never had a problem being served. When asked to speak to the owner, the waitress refused. Me and my party eventually found the owner as he was leaving. After hearing the circumstances and seeing my birth certificate he agreed to serve me. Once he left however, our waitress and the manager came over and still refused to serve me. The manager then became very loud and rude with us telling us "you all can leave, I don't care". Casa Real has good food, and before this I never had any real big problems, but their poor customer service skills, from a MANAGER at that is the reason why they get 1 star from me. Also, the fact that I asked Secretary of State about this so called law and they said one doesn't exist. They said as long as my ID wasn't expired, which it doesn't until 2019 it is valid. So the fact that they lied to me on top of that shows that they don't take professionalism seriously.

Loved it! Service was very promt. The waitress was really nice! Her name was Carrie! The food was great and the atmosphere was also family friendly.
