I'm not sure I'm equipped at this moment, to adequately describe the magic that was this evening, at Casa Corsi. We are visiting the area and found Casa Corsi via Google and let's just understand that it did not disappoint. We were settled a bit late in our Airbnb so I decided to be a decent human, by calling ahead to see if they could seat 3, late in the evening. Patrick answered with a vocal smile and invited us to come on in. When we arrived, a stranger exiting mentioned that this was the best Italian known to man. We had a feeling, but we still needed to test the palates for ourselves. As soon as we identified a staff member from the front door, it was Patrick asking if that was us that had recently called. It was at that point we knew, we found something very special. I'll be honest that we were not starving - we probably could have skipped dinner as we had a big and late lunch, but our interest was piqued, and I wasn't missing the opportunity to try this restaurant. We were left speechless. Jason was our guide and he was absolutely incredible. All of us had picked our entrees out before we called the restaurant and lo/ behold, after hearing what Jason had to say, we had chosen alternatives that were out of this world. Absolutely speechless. Jason is a true giver of heart. I can't count how many times he came to the table to check on us, refill my wine and our water, and just show how great of a human he is. Throughout our visit, we watched other staff members seamlessly pull tables and reset them in a blink. The same staff collected our dirty dishes and utensils in such a professional and quick fashion that it really just set this place into that top level. This place will be in my dreams forever. We will be back as often as we can. What a remarkable memory for us. Thank you Patrick, Jason and everyone else this evening that made such an impact on our trip. See you again, and hopefully soon!
What a delightful place, we were pleasantly surprised to see how gorgeous and cozy this place is. The ambience, the food quality and the taste was absolutely great! The outside is so deceiving, it looks very small and casual from the outside but it's just fantastic when you go in.
Attentive, responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly service! There’s a salivating selection of pastas, as well as perfectly dressed salads. I tried the fettuccine fungi as my main, which I requested and received as vegan. It was presented with a strong but moderated truffle sauce, which was astronomically creamy. Sadly the vegan options there are very limited, but the chef was amicable to cook up dishes that work.
Casa Corsi is an Italian restaurant in North Vancouver, located inside a cute yellow building with lots of greenery adorning the place. They seem to be run by the same family that is behind the well established Quattro restaurant in Whistler, and which at one time, also had branches on W.4th in Vancouver Quattro on 4th and lower Lonsdale in North Vancouver Gusto di Quattro. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my family at Casa Corsi . On the table we had: Carpaccio Sottobosco, Gamberi all'Aglio, Calamari Piccanti, Linguine Pesto, Spaghetti Corsi, Linguine Pescatore, a Gnocchi special, Tiramisu, Sticky Toffee pudding, and two other desserts that I can't even remember the name of! Major food coma, but the food was so good! Might have been just an "off" night but service was quite slow, especially when we wanted to order dessert. I was surprised that they had Sticky Toffee pudding for dessert as it's really more of a British dessert than an Italian dessert. No complaints about having Sticky Toffee Pudding though. It's always a crowd pleaser in our family and it was delicious just like everything else on the table was that night! Service: Fair. Parking: Free and plentiful. Location: Convenient. Many businesses in the area, and two shopping malls close by. Park Royal Shopping centre is less than 5 minutes drive away in one direction, and Capilano Mall is less than 5 minutes drive away in the other direction.
Very good food and very good service! One of the best Italian restaurants in town without all the pretentiousness. The inside seating is classic European setting; outside is way more casual. Both of course are a unique experience. There is plenty of parking in the back. Did I mention service was very attentive?
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here last week! Food was fabulous and service was attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxing and made for a lovely date. Very reasonably priced too $160.00 for 2 drinks, 2 appies, and 2 mains plus a 20% tip.Food: 5/5
Excellent food and service. Little gem on the North shore! Real authentic Italian food and feel. Same owners for 40 years. It was a pleasure meeting them. Highly recommended!
We went here for our anniversary dinner and it was delicious! All the staff were so attentive and the owner even came over to see how we were doing. The pasta was incredible, especially the pesto one, and we had their dessert too. On the pricier side but well worth it for a special night out
While on vacation my husband saw this restaurant and really wanted to check it out. When we walked in the door even with 4 kids 8 and under we were so warmly greeted by Patrick founding partner and multiple staff. We had an outdoor reservation which was perfect. They seated us under a heater and then there were heaters on either side of us. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it felt like everyone who worked there was waiting on us and making sure we enjoyed the food and experience. The atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for it’s fine dining without the stiffness that can go with that and the food was delicious! Our son mentioned to Patrick that it was his birthday and they made him feel so special by bringing out dessert for him and not just a little brownie with ice cream, but a legitimate big piece of tiramisu. They gave us his dessert and another dessert on the house. The tiramisu was so good! We had to tell my son to slow down he liked it so much. The other dessert was a salted caramel custard with nuts on top and whipped cream. It was amazing! This place is not cheap but you are definitely not just paying for food. The whole atmosphere makes the cost worth it. Kid-friendliness: This is a fine dining restaurant which is not necessarily geared for kids, however, the staff were so attentive to our kids! They would joke with them and were always making sure they had enough food including the free bread. The kids felt really special. Kids ages: 3, 5, 6, 8
Excellent, delicious Italian food and warm, friendly service. The calamari was tender and the sauce flavorful - a nice departure from the standard deep-fried calamari at other places. The fettuccine with mushrooms and a truffle cream sauce was among the best I've tried!
