"A pastificio food truck serving the good people of the north shore. Wedged between two of North Vancouver's finest cocktail bars, we bring you our favourite flavours of Italy with fresh handmade pasta and classic sauces, served hot and ready to eat or packaged for you to cook at home.Why "In Vacanza"? Well, this little pasta bar was dreamed up while on vacation in Rome in March, 2020. It was the beginning of a pandemic and we were taking pasta courses prior to being locked down and fleeing Italy. The world was beginning to fall apart, and we were savouring fresh made pasta in a courtyard, thinking how everything tastes better on vacation. With all that 2020 has brought we wanted to bring that simply comfort to the shore."

Incredible experience! Nothing like high quality food in a humble setting. I'm q huge pasta fan and must say that the pasta was cooked perfectly, the tomato sauce clung to the pasta, and the texture of the noodles was refreshing! Will be going back for sure.
Small menu, offering simple italian pasta dishes. But don't be fooled, to make a simple dish delecious, it has to be done to perfection, which is what you get here. Some seriously good and generously portioned servings. The pesto was hand made and tasted fresh! As for the burrata, it's the real deal, do get the salad! Really easy to order on the website for pickup, my only negative would be the auto default 20% tip when you order online you do have the option to change it.
Absolutely love In Vacanza so much. Best quality pasta and everything is homemade. Sweetest staff as well! Ordered catering from them for a party and everybody loved it :
Fabulously fresh and great value for money - the date night special at sons of Vancouver is a no brainer on Wednesday and Thursday. Made in house and freshly cut, the pasta is simple healthy and delicious.
When your pasta first shows up you might think it's a small portion. It's deceptive. Reach down in the bottom with your spoon and drizzle the sauce back on top. The noods are al dente, and the sauces are fantastic. Tried the Amatraciana with bucatini. The smoked jowl was fatty and delish. My friends polished off their pesto linguine very quickly. I recommend you add burrata, it's worth it. Great new local find. Interested in buying noods or meal packs off them. I ordered from my table at the Woods distillery.
Great portions, great quality, delicious and reasonably priced pasta. Will change to 5 stars when garlic bread is offered!
We've ordered meal kits twice now, and both times were fantastic. The owner was super accommodating with our delivery. The pasta has an incredible texture and the flavors in the amatriciana, puttanesca, and the pesto dishes are all great. Definitely the best pasta I've had since I was in Italy. Thank you Eryn!
We went on a Saturday evening and just managed to get there before it got super busy and thank goodness we did because the wait for our food was super long and even longer for the people behind us. It took about 40min for our food to come. I'd expect a food truck to have food ready a bit faster. People who ordered take-out also had to wait for their orders as well. Our pasta tasted awesome, fresh and flavourful. Unfortunately, they also completely missed putting in one of our orders so we were short one dish. Luckily we had ordered a charcuterie appetizer or else that person would have had no food. Would love to give them a better review but don't go down starving or you may have to wait for a long time.
The food is absolutely delicious. My family has tried multiple pasta dishes and salads here and we have never been disappointed. The staff are always incredibly friendly and kind to us and our small messy children : Great food and atmosphere, I would highly recommend to anyone who likes fresh tasty pasta!
We shared the Putranesca & the Amatraciana with Smoked Pork Jowl, wowww. The fresh pasta was so delicious, we tried the bucatini and the fettuccine. Just perfect The flavors of both the sauces were incredible. The smoked pork jowl is so tasty!!
