"Farina a Legna is a casual, intimate Italian restaurant taking its menu inspiration from the wood oven, which is the heart of our kitchen. The menu is designed to be shared family-style, with a selection of antipasti, pasta, and, of course, pizza. We showcase seasonal ingredients from local farmers and purveyors, as well as specialty items from Italy."

Lovely neighbourhood Restaurant with very good food and excellent service. The staff is GREAT!! Happy hour is great and house red wine is too! Didn’t give it five stars just because it’s a bit high priced for what you get and would love to see a few more menu selections besides pizza. Having said that the pizza is amazing and it’s a great place!
A cozy Italian restaurant with delicious pizzas and super delicious meatballs. I didn't have the chance to try the pasta but next time for sure I will try it. The pizzas are very delicious but not the best The meatballs are definitely a must to try. They are amazing and surprisingly delicious. And yeah the in house cocktails are really tasty. The cocktails are made freshly daily so you might not have all the options cos they run out fast. The staff are super friendly and the service is great. The restaurant environment is also nice and cozy and inside is really cool to sit and chat. I almost forgot the tiramisu, it is DELICIOUS I highly recommend the tiramisu.
One of my fave spots in North Van for really good Italian food! My partner and I just moved to Vancouver and have visited and ordered takeout from Farina a Legna a handful of times and it’s consistently delicious. If you go with an even number in your group or just you and another I highly recommend checking out their specials
A fantastic slice of Italy! Really enjoyed the artichoke pizza I got. The staff were friendly and my waiter made a great reccomendation for a white wine. The decor has a comfortable, grandma's kitchen vibe with a pastel color pallette I fell in love with. Soft lighting and an open kitchen sealed the deal on an excellent ambiance. A little expensive, but a perfect date or double date location. Next time my parents are in town and paying for dinner, I'll take them here :
Pizza and pasta was fabulous. Tiramisu and affogato for desert? Wow. Wish this establishment would have free parking for it's patrons at the back. Free parking around but it's only one hour... hassle of moving the car after the 1 hour. Trust me if you are here with your family and friends you will need more than 1 hour.
We had carbonara and prosciutto & arugula. We ordered these as We saw its an authentic carbonara with guanciale not bacon and egg yolk not cream and pecorino cheese not parmigiano. The food is delicious and we are very satisfied with their service too. When we complained that the rigatoni was a bit soft. They right away wanted to change new plate and didn’t charge us for the pasta. We appreciate it so much as they really take seriously the quality of the food. They even used great quality of prosciutto on the pizza, my Italian spouse was amazed. We definitely come back again.
Wow, they make a delicious and beautifully presented pizza. Wood fired oven. Tucked in non descript exterior, it is a "must return" kind of place that you then have to decide if you are going to have that same amazing pizza again or are going to work your way through the entire menu.Food: 5/5
Lovely space.. We a super family style dinner celebrating 2 birthdays.. Food was great, service was top notch… Is pricey but realize that freshly cooked and not franchised is worth the extra xxx
Great pizza and the best tiramusu I've had in Vancouver. The staff who seated us were super friendly. It was a quite busy night- and it seems it could get loud- so no recommended for a business dinner. Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian options.
The pizza is A little too good. It’s the kind of food you would get if you were on death row and this was your last meal. 10/10 go if you can.
