Incredibly spiritual and moving experience being here in the silence with the majestic giant trees and ferns. Like no other place on the island

Old-growth forest as it should be observed. Off the beaten path and a slow, tiring drive to get there but more than worth the effort

The giant trees here are breathtaking. Well worth the long drive. It feels like you are stepping into Jurassic Park. Sadly most of your drive is through pure clear cuts before you get to this last stand.

What a beautiful place to visit! I hope future generations will get to enjoy the area of Vancouver Island. Please research conservation efforts!
