They day-use area is adjacent to the campground and would be a nice spot to spend a sunny day. I noticed they closed the day-use washrooms at around 6 or 7pm which isn't great if you want to change out of wet swimmers into dry clothes in privacy. There is a pit toilet nearby... The campground ($35 per night) is super clean, shady and pretty private sites, hot showers, clean washrooms, kids playground, very friendly staff. I would stay here again!

Lovely spot for camping and family fun. Nice beaches.

The campsite are very private and really, really nice and clean. They have free hot showers, extremely well kept for a provincial camp site! Lovely atmosphere with kids riding their bikes around. Cons would be the beach itself is extremely rocky and not very enjoyable. We also wished there were more bathrooms throughout the park. We ended up quite far away from them as well as the beach.

Great place to camp . Clean friendly just no dumping station . Must come into Lake Cowichan to dump tanks.

Be very careful where you reserve a site! It's 11:45 PM and the staff are cleaning the bathrooms behind me and it is really loud... I for one, appreciate the quiet hours but they havent been enforced here this week. Also there are bright lights shinning into our site all night. Takes away from the camping experience. There are much better sites here if you pick well. The beach is great, especially for kids. This is the perfect place for young families, but not very rustic or quiet. Lots of radios day & night, but not loud parties. The park and facilities are clean and well maintained and staff are friendly. They have ice & propane firepits!
