Story

Winner of the 2009 "KOA Rising Star Award," this family-oriented KOA will entertain and delight you. Amenities include sparkling clean restrooms, a large flat-bottom heated pool, splash pad, Big Bouncer, mini golf, waterslide, chip wagon and an off-leash dog park. Weekend and summer activities include bingo, ice cream socials, hayrides and movies under the stars. Theme-based weekends include Christmas in July, Halloween, Mardi Gras, Carnival and many more. Sit by the campfire, ride a bike or listen to the birds. Sites are situated in a cultivated pine forest and accommodate units from tents to big rigs. Stay in a cozy Cabin or an air-conditioned Lodge. Quiet time from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. is strictly enforced. One sleeping unit and one vehicle allowed per site. Rates include four people per site. Nous parlons français. This campground is very clean and well maintained. In July 2022 we stayed in a Lodge style cabin that was spacious, well laid out and very clean. We had a large front deck with BBQ and fire pit. Lots of beautiful trees. There are a lot of things for the children to do and the wifi was very good as well I was able to work on the front porch! The staff were very friendly and hard working, everything was well thought out.
Had a great weekend. There are lots of things for the kids/family to do and enjoy. We had read that the staff was very strict with the rules, and that was fine. The only rule that was odd, was campfires out, by 12. Not an issue for most people with kids/family, definitely not an issue for us. The park is actually closer to a five star, but some of the things were a bit run down, like the enclosed play structure. While there, we had such a good time, we did book again for a weekend, later this year.
We just spent the weekend camping here. The kids loved all that activities and were playing/ making friends the entire time. The washrooms were clean, and service that we had was friendly and helpful. The sites are very close together, but the neighbors we had were friendly. We would return to this location. There is mini putt, pedal bikes, heated pool, splash pad, park and climbing structure. Some of the activities included, foam party, big water slide, bingo, and movie night.
Very nice campground, love the tall pines and trees that provide partial shade from full summer sun like a light canopy without making it dark underneath. Lots to do for the kids, fun theme days and activities. Spots are a bit narrow for the price we paid but overall a lovely experience and helpful staff
Stayed in a Deluxe Cabin Full Bath with Shower, Patio Kottage. Super CLEAN; was very impressed with level of care taken to ensure all conveniences e.g. extra towel bars, soap, bbq propane, and hooks. Keurig machine a plus. Tons of towels, clean pillows and sheets, comfortable beds. Activity schedule and facilities enjoyed by adults and kids alike. Wifi throughout campground. Staff super helpful and friendly. A+++
Kids loved it, pool was heated, great for families with young children. They don't over charge for rentals or items in the shop. I did find the structure for under 5 needing some repairs and part replacement. Unfortunately our fire alarm was defective and they just replaced the battery to only have us wake up at 4am. I told them that morning that the alarm is still beeping randomly and they said they would get a replacement. I send my husband at dinner time to check out the status and they handed us back the defective alarm saying the owner didn't have one. I sent him back to tell them to grab one from somewhere else. They complied but instead of them installing it in our cabin they just hand us one. The mounts don't match so we had to figure it out ourselves. If it wasn't for this lack of care for our safety we would have returned, now not so much.
Everything is super Accessable. My cabin had a path behind to the park. Most sites would probably take a few minutes to walk to the store. My only complaint is the store hours during the week. 5pm is the time it closes. I needed a lighter to start a fire but it was 7pm. Overall very great experience.
Unfortunately, I can't give it a 5 star. Everything was nice and clean, lots of shade which was nice since last weekend was 34°C+++. There's nothing to justify the cost of $95+GST per night imo. Also, they don't have waste connections on their site, either you take your trailer to the entrance to empty, or pay $14 to have them come and do it for you. For those reasons, I can't give it more than 3 stars! * If it wasn't from the price, I would probably go back a few times a year whenever I don't feel like driving more than 1hour to go camping.
Arrived at our site only to find out that the previous campers were still there as they had requested a late checkout. We were left blocking other campers and were not compensated for having to wait for our site to be available. This could all have been avoided if it had been dealt with at registration. Very expensive $100 per night and guests are $20 each. Was first and last time here.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay. Super child friendly. Lots of activities to keep them busy. Staff was amazing, super friendly and accommodating. Park was clean and welcoming. Will definitely be going back!
