Very open campground feels like camping in the middle of normal park with small sites. On the west side, many sites were very sloped - we did not have a flat spot for our tent and had to move sites. The size meant setting up right next to the car, the road, or the fire pit - and no privacy from neighbouring sites. A few sites on the water looked lovely, but still too small once a car was on there. While the place itself seemed to be very well maintained, the beach was in poor shape and it's a bad swimming spot murkey, swampy, full of geese - nothing can be done about this, but manage your expectations.
This is by far my favorite campground as a mother to 4 children You all do a great job on maintaining the cleanliness. My only issue is why you lost 1 star I am on lot 87 and not only are people walking through our lot at all hours to have a quicker access to the dumpsters. Staff are also zooming through on the carts I have 4 children and a dog. If this is something that can be worked on it would be 5*****
This is a great Family campground only real issue I had was the men's washroom had a blocked toilet for at least 12 hours and they didn't keep the enough toilet paper in the other stall. The campground has beautiful sites and big open play area for kids and adults.
Everything was fantastic, clean ect.. only one thing was wen a younger kid was cutting the grass Monday morning August 29th 2022, my cousin was walking her grand daughter she had her in her arms and the kid who was doing his job and doing a great job I may add but he went so darn close to them with this huge ride on lawn mower...way to close 2 feet from them....that is the only thing thank gawd no one got anything blown in an eye or something bad ....I know he was doing his job but I dough very much if his boss seen this he would have been told at least I hope so.....go visite this place it's fantastic we go once a year at least and some go alot more...enjoy!
First time staying at Woodlands. We stayed at site 180 with a 30 ft trailer. The site was on very bad slope so make sure to bring lots of leveling blocks. Beautiful view of the water, however it lacks privacy. Campers staying beside us had 3 tents on one site. Two of the tents housed 2 different families of 4 each and the other 1 person. That's 9 people on one site. They were loud and so was their music. The children ran through our site all day long. I definitely enjoy the other St lawrence parks, but this one not so much. It wasn't peaceful or relaxing. I won't be returning.
I camped with my family for Québec Day, at campsite #192. A spacious, beautiful site, it was the most beautiful camping site we have ever had. Bathrooms clean and available. Very friendly staff, a lot of security! the beach was the only disappointing thing but it is because of the storms and rain these days. But we will be back!
Good place to camp, nice grass grounds, the swimming area full with annoying weeds preventing enjoyable free swimming. The washrooms are not getting cleaned frequently, and no hot water there. The showers are clean with hot water.
Love this place love that the camp sights are big and clean. The rest rooms are cleaned often lots of picnic area and dogs aloud.
Excellent family camping, nice open green areas, shallow beaches, clean washrooms and showers, the friendly staff at the check-in counter, you enjoy relaxing time during weekdays. The two cabins are great for a small family. It is equipped with a small fridge, AC, a dining table with four chairs. Note: there is no butane gas bottle disposal at the campsite.
We had a very private waterfront campsite that was in a marshy area with a beaver dam, so we spent our night watching beavers play, blue herons soar over our site, and huge fish swim in the shallows like 10 ft from our tent carp and pike. It was awesome!
