Love this RV resort! Very clean. Lovely hosts. Best washroom / shower facility we have seen. Different size sites - we had a wonderful large site with both sun and shade, and a large grassy area at the back. Large grass field and playground for the kids, and common covered outdoor shelter with fireplace for groups to gather. Just a pathway away to the ocean. Just minutes away from beautiful sandy Kye Bay Beach. Short drive to Comox's awesome outdoor Pickleball courts. Just finished four nights here, and look forward to returning in two weeks for another five nights.
The nicest rv park you'll ever find, prime location, clean, well kept, excellent hosts, fast internet, this park has a luxury feel to it, with higher end trailers and a higher end crowd. I look forward to staying here every winter.
Always a good time at this place. Only thing it's missing is a splash park to cool off in. They've done a really nice job of giving great amenities. The free WiFi is great. Works well. The campground itself is really well maintained. Site 12 is nicely shaded and large.
This is a great RV Park to stay for a week and check out Comox and Courtney. Clean washrooms and modern facilities with superb hosts that care!! Super close to the ocean to watch the eagles and sea otters. The sea walk two minutes away is awesome. The views are outstanding. Check it out!!
Very clean and friendly. People are respectful. We stayed at site #11 and it was super awesome. Great privacy.
Stayed one night, but was very impressed. Nice clean quite resort. Super friendly staff/owners. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice RV campground that is close to the beach. Washrooms are clean and the campsite very well maintained.
Got us in last minute on Canada Day! Incredibly neat & tidy, well treed with great green space & a dance away from the beach. What more could be wanted... maybe staple foods eggs, pancake mix, milk etc at the tuck store. Will go back! Great experience.
Very lovely park, not far from the beach.
My family stayed here for a week in June 2021. The owners take incredible care of this place, and it shows. My dad taught me the term "pride in ownership" when i was a kid, and this place exemplifies it. It is very quiet, and great for families that put the kids down early. The "regulars" that are here more long term are super friendly and welcoming. I had no problem letting my 4.5 year old ride his bike around with little to no supervision. We stayed in site 63, and it was super shady and moderately private. Hedges have been planted in many of the sites that will eventually fill in a little and offer a bit more if you need it. No complaints here. The bathroom and showers are great, and you can also do your laundry. Were were certainly not roughing it! The path to the beach as someone else noted is a bit sketchy, and is was blocked by a gigantic driftwood tree. I repaired the stairs a bit while i was there, and with the help of a few other old dudes passing by, levered the big tree out of the way as best we could. It is better, but could still use a bit of work. This is no fault of Cape Lazo, as it is not on their property. Anyways, easily 5+ stars, and I would not hesitate to book another week or more at this immaculate campground. If they put in a pool, I would not be upset.
