Canyon Country Campground

Great secluded campground within walking distance of the canyon and a short drive from the quaint little town of Wellsboro. Cabins are cozy and clean, other campers are friendly and the staff is great. Say hi to Dewey at the office, you won't regret it! The cost is very reasonable and well worth it, a great experience!

Great proximity to the PA grand canyon. This is camping- no tv reception or cable; limited cell service; nice hiking trail to the state park visitors center. The town of Wellsboro is a short drive and great scenery all around.

Never having been to the area I got lucky finding a cabin here. It turned out to be more secluded and scenic than some other places I looked at, and also at a much better price. The cabins and amenities are clean and very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely return in the future.

I've been going there for years and this was my first disappointing trip. Was given one price during the phone reservation but a higher one when I showed up. People kept showing up after quiet hours started so it was noisy when trying to sleep. Car doors slamming music playing air pumps for mattresses going after midnight. Septic smells every twenty minutes or so. Made it difficult to sit down to eat. We even left a night early. Brought it up to the office. "I'll have to take a look" but never did. Just disappointed after this visit.

Great place to camp. Within walking distance from the lookout tower and overlook at Leonard Harrison State Park. Lots of tree cover in the campground that give some nice privacy.
