Terrace Motel

This place is entirely clean and adequate, with a very affordable price. The owner was friendly and welcoming. My sister and I stayed two nights; first in the motel and second in a cabin, for a similar price. Both rooms were clean and fresh smelling, but I recommend the cabin because it is farther away from the road. Overall this is a no frills place, but it had everything we needed. I would stay there again.

I stayed here overnight in late October 2017 while doing a bicycle tour along the Pine Creek Trail. Like the other reviews have mentioned, this is a dated Motel. But shower was hot, the towels clean with soap and shampoo provided, the bed was comfy and sheets freshly washed with an extra pillow in a drawer. The heat worked fine, as did the TV and Wi-Fi. The 'NO SMOKING' sign was authentic with no smell of smoke in the room. The price was cheap and the gentleman who checked me in was pleasant and had no problem with me keeping the bike in the room for security (even giving me a slightly larger room THANK YOU! :) ). I'd stay here again if doing the bike tour again. One item I would mention; the walls are a bit thin and the room next door blared the television ALL NIGHT. This is also next to a highway so road noise was dim but noticeable, nothing a set of ear plugs couldn't make up for. It's a decent room with all the basics for a basic price. I've certainly paid a lot more for places that weren't as nice.

I stay here every time I'm in Wellsboro. It's a quiet peaceful area just on the edge of town, but close enough (walking distance) to Main St and all the town has to offer.

Reasonable rates, allows pets. Old, but clean. Would be helpful if a hair dryer was provided.

The place is dated but cheapest in the area and the manager is friendly.
