Very friendly staff for greeting and tasty food. We were regulars at Chuna House before it closed they retired and deserve their rest, this would seem the closest to a successor. Generous portions, and tasty food.Food: 5/5

The best food in the city! Its always busy so call early if ur taking out and expect a wait if the dining room is full..well worth the wait!

Good food and better prices. You get a lot for cheap but there’s other places in town with better Chinese. Either way it’s not bad and great for the price and location.

Reasonable prices , food was delicious, but had to order at least 2 to 3 hours before you want to eat, so busy especially on Sundays. Take out or delivery only available right now.

Worst Chinese restaurant in St. John’s. Ordered combo meal and another chicken meal. Woman told us that it should be ready after 15 minutes. So we came back after 15 minutes and the same woman said it’s not ready yet. I then asked her when is it going to be ready. She said, “ I don’t know”. So it could take another 10 mins, 30 mins or another hour and she doesn’t know? What kind of customer service is that? Maybe don’t open a restaurant when you don’t know the wait times, otherwise you make your customers extremely hungry. I could’ve gone to other food places out there.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of St. John's. Really fantastic food that is cooked to order. The fact you often need to make reservations or even call in food orders hours in advance is a sign of just how good of food they serve. Their actual location can be slightly chilly during the winter but since we almost always did takeout it was not an issue. The staff is kind and friendly and the food is excellent. I would easily recommend Canton Restaurant.

Best Chinese food I ever had. Only thing is if u want it you usually have to book hours in advance because they are always so busy. But it's well worth the wait cause it's so yummy. Best chicken balls, best beef and broccoli, best chicken chop suey!

The food was awesome and the lady who served me was number one. I highly recommend this place.
